Technical Lead_Mean Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), software engineering methodologies, and Agile practices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuous deployment environment and have a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Test-Driven Development (TDD): Write tests before implementation to ensure code quality.
• Clean & Maintainable Code: Develop self-explanatory, efficient, and well-structured code.
• Frequent Releases: Deploy small, incremental updates frequently.
• Pair Programming: Work collaboratively in pairs to improve efficiency and code quality.
• Peer Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews for continuous improvement.
• Full-Stack Development: Handle both frontend and backend, including infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.
• Product Development: Collaborate closely with the product team to roll out new features and fixes.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in:
• Node.js, TypeScript, React, and JavaScript
• Object-Oriented Programming in JavaScript
• Data structures, algorithms, and software engineering methodologies
• Experience in Agile & Extreme Programming (XP)

• Familiarity with:
• Web server ecosystems
• Relational DBMS
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, and Bamboo
• Web frameworks and frontend technologies
• Complexity analysis and performance optimization
• Server configuration and deployment infrastructure

• Experience using:
• Source control and bug tracking systems
• Writing user stories and technical documentation
• Bonus: Experience with Swift or iOS development is a plus.

• A​ ​hands-on full-stack engineer​​ to join the ​​core team​​ with experience in building products from scratch into large-scale platforms and ​solving business problems leveraging new and innovative technology
• Leverage the DevOps team to ensure the product can be built, deployed, and tested across all of the release cycles from dev to production 
• Strong grasp of modern security principles and how to apply them to applications
• Work with stakeholders (product owners, project managers, and scrum masters) to define and clarify requirements.
• Hands-on development with both front-end, middle-tier, and back-end programming
• Adhere to agile development methodologies
• Experience in Node.js, Javascript and Javascript libraries, NOSQL databases, Python etc

• Degree in Computer Science.
• 3-10 years of experience as a full stack developer.
• Must have proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as Java, Nodejs and React JS.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Very Good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Developing all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database(s), and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end & Back-end.
• Addressing architectural problems like scalability, availability, etc., and providing solutions for them.
• Developing Database models, APIs, and processes.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using the React.js open-source library ecosystem.
• Code debugging and performance testing.
• Dealing with clients associated with different projects.
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance and responsiveness across all devices and browsers.

• Good Experience with Node.js backend development platforms & MongoDB

• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
• Handling of Asynchronous tasks in frontend and backend both.
• Good to have experience in creating and using Image APIs.
• Prior experience with deployment on AWS and Heroku servers.
• Have good knowledge of Version Control Tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Bootstrap, HTML & CSS is a must to know.
• Having an understanding of React.js and its core principles is an added advantage.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) is an added advantage
• Experience with handling data structures.
• Experience with React.js frontend development platforms.
