
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate Technical Writer to create high-quality documentation that simplifies complex technical information for a wide range of audiences. You will collaborate with developers, engineers, and product managers to produce user manuals, API documentation, online help guides, and training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and FAQs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical information.
- Translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and visuals to support documentation.
- Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity and consistency.
- Maintain documentation repositories and version control using tools like Git or Confluence.
- Ensure documentation complies with company standards and style guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in software or IT domains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Markdown editors.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or scripting languages.
- Exposure to API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman.
