Mandatory:

• Strong AI Runtime Engineering (Lead / Staff) Profiles
• Must have 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Must have proven 1+ years of experience designing, building, and owning AI runtime infrastructure supporting distributed training and/or inference at scale
• Must have hands-on experience optimizing deep learning runtimes such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc
• Must have strong low-level performance engineering experience, including profiling, debugging, and optimizing system throughput, latency, and reliability
• Must have experience leading or mentoring a team, including technical guidance, code reviews, and delivery ownership
• Must have strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++ , etc

Preferred:

Experience with Kubernetes, Ray, TorchElastic, or custom AI job orchestration frameworks

Exposure to LLM training pipelines, checkpointing, elastic or distributed training orchestration

Role & Responsibilities:

As Lead/Staff AI Runtime Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of the core runtime infrastructure that powers distributed training and deployment of large AI models (LLMs and beyond). This is a hands-on leadership role - perfect for a systems-minded software engineer who thrives at the intersection of AI workloads, runtimes, and performance-critical infrastructure. You’ll own critical components of our PyTorch-based stack, lead technical direction, and collaborate across engineering, research, and product to push the boundaries of elastic, fault-tolerant, high-performance model execution.

What you’ll do:

Lead Runtime Design & Development:

• Own the core runtime architecture supporting AI training and inference at scale.
• Design resilient and elastic runtime features (e.g. dynamic node scaling, job recovery) within our custom PyTorch stack.
• Optimize distributed training reliability, orchestration, and job-level fault tolerance.

Drive Performance at Scale:

• Profile and enhance low-level system performance across training and inference pipelines.
• Improve packaging, deployment, and integration of customer models in production environments.
• Ensure consistent throughput, latency, and reliability metrics across multi-node, multi- GPU setups.

Build Internal Tooling & Frameworks:

• Design and maintain libraries and services that support model lifecycle: training, check pointing, fault recovery, packaging, and deployment.
• Implement observability hooks, diagnostics, and resilience mechanisms for deep learning workloads.
• Champion best practices in CI/CD, testing, and software quality across the AI Runtime stack.

Collaborate & Mentor:

• Work cross-functionally with Research, Infrastructure, and Product teams to align runtime development with customer and platform needs.
• Guide technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help scale the AI Runtime team’s capabilities.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in systems/software engineering, with deep exposure to AI runtime, distributed systems, or compiler/runtime interaction.
• Experience in delivering PaaS services.
• Proven experience optimizing and scaling deep learning runtimes (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) for large-scale training and/or inference.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (Go or Rust is a plus).
• Familiarity with distributed training frameworks, low-level performance tuning, and resource orchestration.
• Experience working with multi-GPU, multi-node, or cloud-native AI workloads.
• Solid understanding of containerized workloads, job scheduling, and failure recovery inproduction environments.

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Flutter code to develop feature-rich, high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

Collaborate with designers to implement visually stunning and responsive user interfaces, ensuring an excellent user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and services to facilitate seamless data exchange and ensure smooth app functionality.

• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other problems that may arise during the development process or in the live applications.

• Continuously optimize application performance and enhance the user experience by employing efficient algorithms and techniques.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies related to mobile development, particularly within the Flutter ecosystem, and apply them to improve development processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on Flutter.

• Proven expertise in developing robust and complex mobile applications using the Flutter framework.

• Solid understanding of mobile app development concepts, including UI/UX design, offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.

• Strong proficiency in Dart programming language, along with a good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in integrating mobile applications with backend services.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Primary Responsibilities

What Are We Looking For?

1. Hands-on experience with Javascript frameworks like ReactJS / ExpressJS / NodeJS. Databases like MySQL / MongoDB and REST API is a must-have skill.
2. Proficient in object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, and huge passion and ability to design intuitive modules.
3. Experience building at least one application from scratch
4. Interest in learning new languages/frameworks as needed.

Critical Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with business analysts/product managers to estimate and design effective, scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business initiatives and objectives
• Develop and design software/platform that meets business requirements and technical design
• Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations and Handle the team
• You will provide back-end functionality that can run smoothly from any device or browser type
• Propose new ideas when there is strong business value and stay up to date on the latest technology trends and techniques.

Critical Skills & Experiences:

• At least 9+ years of experience developing in Java technologies with equivalent experience in systems analysis, OO design, OO programming and debugging skills
• Deep Understanding of Web UI, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
• Integration with 3^rd party API’s.
• ReactJS – Must (min 7 years exp ) with nodejs.
• At least 9 years of experience in Java Spring Boot Framework development
• 7 years of experience in any Cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• At least 7 years of web services and relational database experience (preferably Mysql)
• At least a year of Elastic search experience
• Experience developing RESTful web services (preferably micro services)
• Experience with UNIX/Linux command line and shell scripting
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams
• Any level of experience with JIRA or any other issue tracking technology
• Experience with Java application profiling and profiling tools
• Bachelor’s degree or the above equivalent skills and years of experience
• Should be able to manage end-to-end single handedly with prior experience
• Full stack developer overall with at least 9yrs experience.

• Defining, implementing and executing regression and stress automation tests focused on embedded software and device firmware level
• Analyzing automation test results for failures, identifying issue trends, and quantifying impact
• Isolating and reporting defects effectively quantifying customer impact, and verifying fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies
• Working cross-functionally with other QA teams, Developers and Project Managers

Desired Candidate Profile

• BE– CS/ ECE, MS, ME, MTech
• 2+ years of QA experience, preferably on consumer hardware/software products
• Automation experience in modern scripting or compiled languages (Python, JavaScript, C, etc.)
• Knowledge of Unix and Unix shell scripting
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Deep understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
• Ability to solve hard problems with creative and sustainable solutions
• Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle processes
• Self-motivation with the ability to drive features to delivery
• Strong hands on experience in developing applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good logical sense, strong technical skills, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly    

• Manage high-level architecture and design data flows in the Android and iOS app in (Dart, Flutter framework)
• Add new features and automate functionalities in backend hosted on Firebase (Typescript, ReactJS framework)
• Setup Marketing and Analytics tools in the app to get relevant daily usage insights and target users in different campaigns. (3rd party tools, Mixpanel)
• Experiment with the live data stream from wearable IoT devices to generate insights using ML models in production.
• Deploying ML models in production to be used inside the app community section.
