Sales and Application Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
• Respond to technical support tickets via phone, email, or in person.
• Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place.
• Maintain asset records and update inventory logs.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements or repairs.
• Provide support during software and hardware upgrades.
• Document technical issues and resolutions in the support ticketing system.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS (7/10/11), Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with remote desktop tools and help desk software.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and system security.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft (MCP/MCSA), or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in desktop or IT support.
• Experience in handling onsite and remote support for users.

Cold calling to the client, Analyzing their requirements regarding the residential properties, scheduling their site visits and take proper followup till bookings of flats

• Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, scalable, extensible, and maintainable code as well as perform code review.
• Lead a team of highly efficient developers working on agile development practices including sprint planning.
• Apply design principles and patterns in creating enterprise-level solutions, as needed.
• Design products, services, and systems that are resilient to the iteration and change required by the needs of the business.
• Research new technologies and development methodologies to drive efficiency and improve customer experience.
• Coordinated with the US-led product and sales team to strategize and carry out the development of custom features and functionality requests.

• 3+ years of experience as a Full stack developer.
• Extensive experience working with NodeJS platforms.
• Expertise in building robust REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like ExpressJS, NextJS, and Fastify.

Job Description:

As a developer in the chatbot team you’ll be responsible for expanding the scope of AERIN (Aertrip’s Chatbot) to handle all types of travel queries in a scalable and efficient manner. You will need to make AERIN as robust as possible and strive towards 100% accuracy. You should be able to design, develop, test and roll out new features quickly. You should be ready to tackle open-ended problems and build solutions for them.

Preferred qualifications & experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. 1 or more years of work experience in the tech industry.
3. Experience with NLP solutions.
4. Experience with chatbot frameworks like RASA, DialogFlow is a bonus.
5. Experience with spacy, nltk and other ML libraries.
6. Familiarity with version control tools like Gitlab.
7. Experience in object oriented design and programming.
8. Sound programming skills to write algorithms for text analysis and context understanding.
