Job Role: Android Developer

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: India (remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.            Handson exp in Kotlin and Android studio

2.            Good understanding of Core Java

3.            Experience in JSON parsing

4.            Experience in REST API

5.            Experience in Junit test cases

6.            Well versed in Latest Android API version.

7.            Experience in publishing apps to the App Store.

8.            Social Networking site integration

9.            Code version tool – Git and JIRA

10.          Architecture understanding - MVVM, MVP

11.          Strong analytical and debugging skills/ Unit test coverage

12.          Ability to do design and high level architecture

Essential Duties & Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Handle Level 1 and Level 2 Telephony, some Network support, and

escalations from Level

• Technical support for phone systems (PBX on-prem and Cloud based), network issues (Internal and ISP), SIP issues etc.

• Understanding of Network Support for Switching, Wireless and routers

• Log tickets and assist end users with technical queries, or escalate to the appropriate team

• Deployment, implementation, and ongoing support of telephony

solutions/systems with assistance of onsite tech team

• Ability to trouble-shoot and partner with other teams remotely for

resolution

• Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution

• Involvement in scoping replacement or implementation options for client proposals

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years working in a Help Desk or IT support environment

• 2-3+ years of phone system/PBX experience

• 2-3+ years of SIP experience

• 2-3+ years of Network troubleshooting experience for LAN/WAN

• Some desirable telephony qualifications or experience in any of the

following: Ericsson-LG Aria iPECS, 3CX, Avaya, Cisco Webex, Asterisk

(Training will be provided on major solutions that we use)

• Understanding of networking along with experience in any of the following: HPE Aruba, HPE, Cisco,, Meraki, Juniper, Cambium, Fortinet

• Excellent verbal and written skills to both customers and internal staff

• Proactively identify and resolve problems, using documented or

researched answers and providing resources to other IT staff and users

• Organizational and prioritization skills

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new job-related tasks

• Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere as well as alone

depending on shift placement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop new, end-to-end financial product experiences in BFSI domain for Retail Consumers
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering teams across multiple product teams to drive buy-in on new product
• Experiences and engineering frameworks.
• Work closely with your’s and other engineering teams with a keen eye towards scalable architecture to design and implement new 0→1 integrations with an appetite to quickly scale from 1→n across products.
• Recruit and build an entirely new engineering team and move fast in converting new ideas to product.

What You’ll Need :

• 10+ years of overall experience with 3+ years of Engineering Management experience, managing a diverse set of candidates(frontend, backend, mobile), across various technologies. Good software engineering methodology- meaningful and deeply-rooted opinions about testing and code quality, ability to make sound quality/speed trade-offs.
• Exceptional technical skills in backend with significant experience building and operating critical high-scale systems with a hands-on approach to lead from the front when the situation calls for it.
• Ability to think and analyze both breadth-wise (client, server,DB, control flow) and depth-wise (threads, sessions, space-time complexity)while designing and implementing services
• Exceptional design and architectural skills

We are looking for a experienced engineer with superb technical skills. You will primarily be responsible for architecting and building large scale systems that delivers AI and Analytical solutions to our customers. The right candidate will enthusiastically take ownership in developing and managing a continuously improving, robust, scalable software solutions. Although your primary responsibilities will be around back-end work, we prize individuals who are willing to step in and contribute to other areas including automation, tooling, and management applications. Experience with or desire to learn Machine Learning a plus.

• A hands-on application developer who is passionate about Java development, building highly scalable and resilient applications, and focused on solving complex business problems
• He/She will have responsibility for unit-level design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and participating in the full SDLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Java development

• Able to work at both abstract and detailed level
• Must be fluent in English, and strong communication skills.

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in Core Java 8 and above, Collections and Data structures.
• Develop solutions using core java, Spring / Spring Boot, JSON, Rest API and other web technologies
• Hands on with UI development with strong experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Responsive UIs. Added advantage for exposure to Angular. Knowledge on Liferay will be added advantage. Ability to design and develop UIs and end to end integration.
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate and Mybatis)
• Strong knowledge of test-driven development and continuous integration
• Preference towards candidates having excellent Java multi-threading skills
• Passion for collaboration and working on agile teams
• Develop and Consume Web Services using REST.
• Enforcing and Writing code following good standards (well documented with good code coverage and properly tested code)
