Description:

We’re looking for a Head of Technical Recruiting with a strong understanding of software development to lead and scale our tech hiring. You will partner with engineering leadership to define hiring needs, build efficient interview processes, and deliver high-quality hires across backend, frontend, data, platform, and product engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end technical hiring strategy

Partner with CTO/Engineering leaders on workforce planning

Manage and mentor technical recruiters

Design and improve technical interview processes

Drive senior and critical tech hires

Track and improve hiring metrics (time-to-hire, quality, funnel)

Requirements:

6+ years in recruiting, primarily technical hiring

3+ years leading recruiting teams

Strong understanding of software development and tech stacks

Experience hiring across engineering roles (BE/FE/FS/Data/DevOps, etc.)

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities:

 Discussing project aims with the client and development team.

 Designing and building web applications using Laravel.

 Troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.

 Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects.

 Testing functionality for users and the backend.

 Ensuring that integrations run smoothly.

 Scaling projects based on client feedback.

 Recording and reporting on work done in Laravel.

 Maintaining web-based applications.

 Presenting work in meetings with clients and management.

Requirements:

 A degree in programming, computer science, or a related field.

 4+ years of Experience working with PHP, and Laravel, performing unit testing, and

managing APIs such as REST.

 A solid understanding of application design using Laravel.

 Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.

 Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.

 Practical experience using the MVC architecture.

Hiring PHP Developer

Job description

Should have proven work experience of 1-2 years as a PHP - Laravel based development in a competitive environment

Proficient in developing applications based on Laravel 5 or greater

Proficient in handling MySQL database. (Experience in PostgreSQL is a plus)

Experience in other PHP Frameworks like Yii, Zend , Cake PHP, CodeIgniter are added advantage

Experience in analyzing & modifying existing open source / plugin code & extensions jQuery, XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX

Experience in SOAP, REST and web services

• Experience working with Lamp Stack/PHP code
• Proficiency in Magento and/or WordPress is strongly preferred
• Involved in requirement analysis, design and development
• Involved in sending form data to restful API using Ajax calls
• Have experience in CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Jquery Mobile, Bootstrap
• Design, population, updating & editing of relational databases and RDBMS like SQL, MySql.

• As a Senior Software Engineer you will work closely with the Tech Lead, and the rest of the engineering team to build and scale a data-driven platform. This role will act as a great springboard to accelerate career growth & transition into a Tech Lead level role.
• Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, building new services and APIs, developing core business logic, supporting the maintenance of current APIs, reviewing work, and improving the performance and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organization.
• An effective Senior Software Engineer will be a self-motivated learner; a highly creative engineer having obsessive attention towards detail and thoroughness.

Must Haves

• You’ve been building web applications professionally for 5+ years
• You’re proficient in PHP 7, Laravel, and PostgreSQL
• You possess strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
• Familiar with modern engineering practices: Code Reviews, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc
• You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and experienced with TDD (Test Driven Development)
• You’ve the ability to build RESTful APIs
• Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support team, and fellow engineers is not a problem for you
• Well versed with the fundamentals of computer science and distributed systems

Nice-to-haves

• FrontEnd experience; have built applications in either: React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte
• Startup experience, preferably a tech startup
• Open Source contributor
• You have experience with other programming languages -- e.g. NodeJS, Python, Ruby, Go, C, etc.
• Passionate about/experienced with open source and developer tools
• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience

Bonus

• Experience deploying applications; AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.
• Experience with leading a team of 3+ developers

We are looking for highly motivated engineers with the following skillset-

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Experience using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc. - any 1 is required
• VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS - knowledge of any 1 is required
• Between 1-5 years of work experience is required
• Very strong data structure and algorithm knowledge
• Ideal candidate would be a very strong developer with great coding skills
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously
