We are seeking an experienced Data + Business Intelligence Architect to lead client engagements in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise data architectures. This is a priority position requiring a seasoned professional who can work directly with clients to build robust data foundations, establish governance frameworks, and create scalable data solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will excel in client-facing environments and deliver high-impact data solutions across diverse business contexts. Here is what you will do:

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture following Medallion architecture principles (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
• Build and optimize data pipelines to integrate data from multiple external sources into centralized data platforms
• Develop and maintain semantic layers that enable consistent business definitions and metrics across the organization
• Establish data foundations built on strong data governance principles, including data quality, security, and compliance frameworks
• Lead the implementation and management of data lakes and data fabric architectures
• Define and enforce data governance layers including metadata management, data lineage, and access controls
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to data engineering and analytics teams
• Drive best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and BI reporting strategies

Non-Negotiable Technical Skills

• Medallion Architecture: Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing Medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers)
• Data Pipeline Development: Extensive experience building scalable data pipelines from multiple external sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming sources)
• Semantic Layer Creation: Demonstrated ability to design and implement semantic layers that provide unified business metrics and definitions
• Data Foundation & Governance: Strong expertise in building data foundations with integrated data governance principles including data quality, lineage, security, and compliance
• Data Lakes & Data Fabric: Hands-on experience establishing and managing data lakes and/or data fabric architectures with governance layers

Additional Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and business intelligence roles
• Expert-level knowledge of modern data platforms and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, data vault, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data transformation frameworks (dbt, Apache Spark, etc.)
• Experience with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Background in biopharma, pharmaceutical, or Contract Research Organization (CRO) environments is a significant advantage

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 1+ years of hands-on experience in software/tech Implementation roles within technical B2B SaaS companies, preferably working with global or US-based clients

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have experience in executing and supporting end-to-end SaaS product implementations, including customer onboarding, workflow & configuration setup, data modeling/data setup, API-based integrations, and go-live support.

Audience & Data
