1. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory

2. ⁠Create and manage data models in PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

3. ⁠Optimize query performance and database performance in PostgreSQL, including indexing, query tuning, and performance monitoring.

4. Strong knowledge on data modeling and mapping from various sources to data model.

5. ⁠Develop and maintain logging mechanisms in Azure Data Factory to monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines.

6. Strong knowledge on Key Vault, Azure Data lake, PostgreSQL

7. ⁠Manage file handling within Azure Data Factory, including reading, writing, and transforming data from various file formats.

8. Strong SQL query skills with the ability to handle multiple scenarios and optimize query performance.

9. ⁠Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data scenarios.

10. Collaborate with Business stakeholder, data architects and PO's to understand and meet their data requirements.

11. Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and quality checks.

12. Having Power BI knowledge, creating and configuring semantic models & reports would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth code integration and delivery using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Runners, AWS Code build/deploy, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes, ECS, Fargate, AWS EKS, Azure AKS.
• Manage and monitor production deployments to ensure high availability and performance
• Implement and manage CDN solutions using AWS CloudFront and Azure Front Door for optimal content delivery and latency reduction
• Define and apply caching strategies at application, CDN, and reverse proxy layers for performance and scalability
• Set up and manage reverse proxies and Cloudflare WAF to ensure application security and performance
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
• Administer and optimize databases (RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) including backups, scaling, and monitoring
• Configure and maintain VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, and security groups for secure and isolated network setups
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to align infrastructure with application needs
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently and proactively
• Ensure cloud cost optimization and usage tracking

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps
• Strong expertise with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Proficient in Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with pipeline tools
• Proficiency in Docker, container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS/AKS)
• Good knowledge of relational databases and experience in managing DB backups, performance, and migrations
• Experience with networking concepts including VPC, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of CDN technologies: AWS CloudFront and Azure Front Door
• Understanding of caching strategies: edge caching, browser caching, API caching, and reverse proxy-level caching
• Experience with Cloudflare WAF, reverse proxy setups, SSL termination, and rate-limiting
• Familiarity with Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation tools
• Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Good to Have (Bonus Points):

• Experience with serverless architecture (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
• Exposure to cost monitoring tools like CloudHealth, Azure Cost Management
• Experience with compliance/security best practices (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
• Familiarity with Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways
• Knowledge of Secrets Management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)

• Proactively working on reporting and analytics of our ongoing projects for best of impact outcomes
• Preparing data for analysis including building repeatable and well-documented processes to create new analyses of data; conducting data analysis for our projects and development impact tracking and identifying patterns, questions, and areas for further analysis
• Setting up reporting systems for all products to ensure best of transparency, focus on performance and value creation
• Managing impact management processes across the organization with a clear timelines and schedule as well as active communication to internal and external stakeholders in an organized and dependable manner
• Ensuring coordination between staff and stakeholders including dialogues, meetings, presentations as may be required to ensure successful, meaningful and impactful project delivery
• Ensuring the Project operations team has an effective Impact management framework for creating and maintaining relationships with the community
• Jointly focussing on growing the outreach and impact of our work in social edtech
• Creating deep impact reports for every project using Excel, Word and PPT based on specific project deliverables, direct and indirect impact as required for each of the projects and creating collaterals, creatives, mailers and videos of progress, updates, storytelling on Impact to engage our stakeholders

• Working knowledge of different approaches to program evaluation and assessment
• Excellent writing skills and command over the English language
• Strong analytical skills, ability to think laterally and detail oriented and with a high level of curiosity and interesting researching projects
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities to create informative and good reports and data sheets using Word, PPTs etc. along with Advanced Excel and data management skills
• Proven track record of displaying a high degree of self-initiative

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for building data and analytical engineering pipelines with standard ELT patterns, implementing data compaction pipelines, data modelling and overseeing overall data quality

• Work with the Office of the CTO as an active member of our architecture guild

• Writing pipelines to consume the data from multiple sources

• Writing a data transformation layer using DBT to transform millions of data into data warehouses.

• Implement Data warehouse entities with common re-usable data model designs with automation and data quality capabilities

• Identify downstream implications of data loads/migration (e.g., data quality, regulatory)

What To Bring

• 3+ years of software development experience, a startup experience is a plus.

• Past experience of working with Airflow and DBT is preferred

• 2+ years of experience working in any backend programming language. 

• Strong first-hand experience with data pipelines and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server or MySQL

• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Travis CI, and JIRA) and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development)

• Experienced with the formulation of ideas; building proof-of-concept (POC) and converting them to production-ready projects

Skills:

• Proficient to expert level experience in Adobe Suite focusing on Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe XD is a plus.
• Intermediate/high proficiency in design principles like typography, composition, scale, color theory, and an advanced knowledge of how those principles work together
• Digital platform design experience and understanding of cross-platform design guidelines.

Experience:

• Strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of B2B print and digital marketing collateral including social media creatives, brochures, reports, sales presentations, pitch decks, etc. preferably in an agency environment.
• Working knowledge of website UI design and motion graphics is a plus.
