Main Responsibilities:

Analysis & Design: Supporting the understanding of client requirements and contributing to the design of software solutions that meet real business needs.

Coding & Development: Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code using industry best practices, contributing to new features and enhancements of existing solutions.

Troubleshooting: Identifying, analysing, and resolving technical issues and defects to ensure high-quality, reliable software.

Database Management: Assisting in the design, maintenance, and optimization of databases and queries to ensure efficient and secure data processing.

Testing: Helping to develop and execute test plans, including unit and integration testing, to ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Communication & Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and technical concepts.

Role Specification:

This is a midlevel role, well suited to individuals who want to work on client-facing projects.

3 years of professional experience in commercial software development

C# and/or VB.NET with .NET Framework and/or .NET.

Implementation of REST APIs

Database & Data

Write and optimize SQL queries and joins

Develop and maintain stored procedures

Participate in database design and data modeling

Perform performance tuning to improve application efficiency

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards are met

DevOps & Engineering Tools

Use Git for version control and collaborative development

Work with Azure DevOps and CI tools for project tracking and builds

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Support release management activities

Manage and maintain multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)

Testing & Quality

• Write and execute unit and integration tests
• Participate in test planning and test case creation
• Work with automation testing frameworks
• Log, track, and resolve defects using defect tracking tools
• Ensure application stability, reliability, and performance

Communication & Collaboration

• Direct end-user support and helpdesk operations
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

1. Design patterns- socket communication/ micro services architecture 

2. Caching - REDIS MEMCACHED etc

3. Database - MONGO, SQL etc. min 2yrs experience with these.

4. Features created for large concurrent requests.

5. Node Js, Go lang any asynchronous programming language min 2 yrs exp with any one of them.

6. Message Queues - RABBIT MQ, Kafka etc.

7. Logging and APM (application process manager) good to have.

8. DS ALGO good to have.

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

• Help attract, select and hire best-in-class talent and help retain top performing talent by creating clear career paths and providing technical mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with security practices/guidelines and relevant technology standards.

• B.E./B.S. Degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of programming experience in Java, Python with strong knowledge of web technologies like HTTP, Tomcat or Django, networking and web performance engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in managing direct reports and their careers.
• Experience in leading technical teams in systems/databases or large scale distributed/infrastructure systems in production.
• Capable of sitting down with engineers to constructively review designs and debug live production issues.
• Extensive background in algorithms, strong software architecture and design skills in building large scale internet applications.
• Comfortable in designing big data technology solutions using Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra and MySQL.
• Capable of handling ambiguous business requirements with excellent prioritisation, time management abilities and focus on execution.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, coaching and developing top engineering talent.

6. Deep knowledge of multiple AWS services
7. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

1. Experience with at least one among C++, Java
2. Experience with Linux file systems
3. Familiarity with agile development methodologies
