Work together with product management and engineering to build innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience. Participate in all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering Develop original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks Prepare wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas Perform user research and evaluate user feedback Set design guidelines, best practices and standards Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies- Intriguing us with new ideas, thoughts or observations Expected to have: • 1-3 years of experience of working on a UI/UX Design • An understanding of Design Thinking methodologies • Profound UI design skills with a solid portfolio of design projects • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps • Experience with Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools • Strong visual design skills with good understanding of user-system interaction • Strong presentational and team player abilities • Excellent oral and written English communication skills Good to have: - Knowledge of Blockchain - Experience working in a startup environment About Company Koinex is India’s first open orderbook exchange with the support of multiple digital assets onto a single platform. Frontend Engineer : 1-2 Years Job Description : Koinex aims at being a game-changer in the nascent Indian blockchain industry. We're a small team that's growing fast and we're looking for Frontend Engineers. As a member of the engineering team, you will be developing our client and consumer facing frontend with a strong focus on response time, stability and cross platform compatibility. If you believe that you drive for excellence in what you do and would go an extra mile to achieve that, this might be an interesting opportunity for you. Responsibilities: • Build awesome web experiences. • Plan and accommodate all mediums, screen sizes and device types. • Build in flexibility and customization from the start. • Internalize the user and promote good usability in every experience. • Be nimble and react quickly to changing business conditions. • Work with product managers, content producers, QA engineers and release engineers to own your solution from development to production. Expected to have: • 1+ years of experience in AngularJS, Angular 2 and above. • Experience with designing and consuming REST Web Services/RESTful APIs. • Strong Knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) and LESS or SASS. • Strong Knowledge of HTML5, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY. • Experience in working with Git. Backend Engineer : 1 – 2 Years Job Description : Koinex aims at being a game-changer in the nascent Indian blockchain industry. We're a small team that's growing fast and we're looking for Backend Engineers. As a member of the engineering team, you will have the opportunity to build and scale backend systems for our exchange platform while also working on new blockchain products. If you believe that you drive for excellence in what you do and would go an extra mile to achieve that, this might be an interesting opportunity for you. Responsibilities: • Translate business requirements and use cases into functional applications. • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. • Review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards. • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. • Help maintain code quality. Expected to have: • Hands-on experience in at least one of Java / Ruby / Golang / Python / Nodejs languages. • A demonstrated history of getting things done. • Experience with testing your own work, without relying on testers or QA. • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. • You're passionate about Fintech / Crypto / Blockchain. • Knowledge in Web Service and REST. • Have experience with SQL / NoSQL / in-memory databases.
