Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a full stack developer who shall be responsible for implementation of software related projects of the firm. This will involve:

–        Understanding existing services of the Company, the requirements of the project and be able to build the back-end coding structure along with front end dashboard, UI / UX for the full project. The person should be capable of building flexible coding to incorporate various user requirements, carry out user acceptance testing, fix bugs within agreed timelines.

–        Dashboard Development: Swiftly conceptualizing, designing, and developing visually engaging and functional dashboards tailored to meet the firm's specific requirements within stringent timelines.

–        Collaborative Approach: Work closely with stakeholders’ other team members, to understand dashboard requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

–        API Integration: Explore and integrate dashboard APIs where applicable to enhance functionalities or enable custom integrations for a more comprehensive dashboard experience.

Key Skills Required

–      Front-end Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and expertise in UX/UI principles to enhance dashboard user interfaces and ensure responsiveness.

–      Backend Development: Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.) and understanding of backend frameworks to facilitate data integration and backend functionalities for dashboards.

–      Strong SQL Skills: Ability to efficiently extract, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL queries from various databases to integrate into the dashboards.

–      Dashboard Development Experience: Prior experience in rapid dashboard development, including designing, developing, and deploying dashboards within accelerated timelines.

–      Being able to work independently, understand industry landscape and come up with innovative solutions to tackle various issues. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain REST APIs
• Proficient in Python or any other programming language
• Experience in writing Unit/Integration tests.
• Experience with Distributed Version Control System.
• Elasticsearch or Solr experience.
• NOSQL experience- Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Experience in Message brokers - Rabbitmq.
• Experience with AWS Infrastructure, Lambda, Docker/Containers

• Experience in Implementing Data Protection
• Must have demonstrated the ability to deliver high-quality products on time
• Knowledge of GIT, SVN technology

Required Skills:

• 2+ year of experience in Development in JAVA technology.
• Strong Java Basics
• Spring Boot or Spring MVC
• Hands on experience on Relational Databases (SQL query or Hibernate) or MongoDB (JSON parsing)
• Proficient in REST API development
• Good at problem solving

Good to Have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in using Java
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced internet start-up environment.
• Experience in technical mentor ship/coaching is highly desirable.

• Technical Guidance: You will provide technical leadership to a team of excellent software engineers; this requires that you have the technical depth to make complex design decisions and the hands-on ability to lead by example.
• Execution and Delivery: You will be expected to instill and follow good software development practices and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. You should be familiar with agile practices as well as be able to adapt these to the needs of the business, with a constant focus on product quality.
• Team management : You will be responsible for hiring and mentoring your team; helping individuals grow in their careers, having constant dialogue about their aspirations and sharing prompt, clear and actionable feedback about performance.

• Technical depth: You have the strong technical competence required to gain credibility. Ability to architect, design and code yourself. Technical experience in building and operating web-based applications. Deep understanding of all layers of the web-stack work (from the client interface to the database.) Knowledge of multiple technology stacks/languages/tools and their pros/cons.
• Execution ability: Focus on delivering products in a timely manner with high quality. Familiarity with multiple software development practices and tools, and the proven ability to adapt, champion and institute good practices and tools.
• You must have a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong understanding of object- oriented programming, concurrency and fundamentals of computer-science.
• Total of 9+ years’ experience building cutting edge products. Deep experience in building very large scale applications and 2 + years’ experience in team management.
• Strong problem solving skills, data structures and algorithms.

• 3+ years of SDE work experience from Product based companies
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Kafka, Hbase, AWS
  • Experience in Multi threading, distributed systems, Best practices of coding, scaling

• Experience in designing and developing web-based applications using Java, J2EE, Web Services, MVC framework, Servlets Spring, Hibernate, Struts, REST, MYSQL.
• Experience in Database application programming for MySQL server using
  Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views etc.
• Experienced in implementing presentation layer using JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JQuery. Java script.
• Experienced in Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Deployment
  and Maintenance of Web services, Client Server and Web based applications.
• Well versed with Agile development process, Scrum.
• Good knowledge in version control system tools like GIT.
• Ability to take independent responsibility as well as ability to contribute and be a productive team member.
• Excellent analytical, logical and programming skills, Self-Motivated, Self-Starter, Team Player can work with minimal supervision with effective Communication skills and Organizational skills combined with attention and Time management skills.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks Include: 

Works in requirements like Engineering, Design, Development, and Deployment. All the tasks involves working with Java, SQL Server and Couchbase. 

Build and monitor data pipelines that serve 100+ websites, 150M+ unique impressions daily. Write code that can handle 4x more scale than the given requirement. 

Maintain uptime of multiple distributed web applications. 

Build data pipelines to pull data from upstream partners like Google. 

You Should Have: 

Minimum 3 years of experience with Java. 

Minimum 2 year of experience with any SQL database (MySql, MSSql, Oracle, DB2, Sybase). Minimum 3 years of experience with web development. 

Experience with any NoSql database (MongoDb, Couchbase, CouchDb, DynamoDb). Experience of designing/implementing/maintaining scalable systems. 

Experience with any cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP). 

Good To Have: 

Experience with BI and data reporting. 

Experience with Elastic search. 

Understanding of data warehousing. 

Experience in Node.js.
