ReactNative Developer

Job Functions / Responsibilities:              

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features for our iOS mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React Native and JavaScript, ensuring the best possible performance and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application to maintain its stability and reliability.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance and responsiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve the mobile application continuously.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure rigorous testing of the application.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when necessary.

Skills:

·        4-6 years of professional experience in mobile application development.

·        Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript.

·        Extensive experience with iOS development, including Swift and Objective-C.

·        Knowledge of native iOS libraries and frameworks. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

·        Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.

·        Solid understanding of mobile app design principles and user interface guidelines.

·        You can work independently on solving complex problems and troubleshooting cryptic

bugs

·        Fluent in both spoken and written English

·        You're a team player and pragmatic programmer.

·        Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

·        Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.

·        Knowledge of Redux or similar state management libraries.

·        You're an avid clean coder, and refactoring is part of your normal workflow. 

The Mobile Application Developer will be the primary resource responsible for Envoy’s mobile offering.  They will develop improvements using Ionic, as well as manage deployment to the appropriate app stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions in Ionic with focus on building scalable, maintainable and secure code, while providing an intuitive, modern user experience
• Actively collaborate with business, production support, and other software engineers
• Maintain the mobile apps status and manage deployments to Google’s and Apple’s app stores
• Keep up to date and champion the latest mobile technology and methodologies

Position Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience with mobile development OR a modern web platform such as Angular, React or Vue.js
• At least 2 years of experience and demonstrated expert knowledge of Ionic.
• Experience with maintaining and deploying mobile applications to Google’s and Apple’s app stores
• Ability to “own” a project and be a strong contributor without constant management.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

• Good in Hybrid, Native Mobile development, and associated development frameworks SDKs.
• Good knowledge in one of the design component frameworks library – (React Native UI Components Library, Material UI, Native UI Components library)
• Stronghold in HTML and CSS or related design libraries like bootstrap, fluid layout system, grid layout system, Flexi layout system)
• Stronghold in repo management system – (Preferred GIT)
• Good to have knowledge on deployment and packaging application to play store or app store.

• Good at React Native with a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT.
• Good at React Js/Redux is preferred
• Good Hybrid mobile development is required
• Good at databases – Relational or NoSQL.
