React-Native App Developer

Job Description: We currently have an opportunity available for Jr. iOS App developers to work full time at our eCommerce product.

Preferably who have worked on an eCommerce platform and developed a minimum of 2 applications.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

- Strong knowledge of swift.

- iOS app architecture

- REST API Integration.

- Deployment process on App store.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

- Familiar with APN and Firebase Push notification.

Job Brief

We are looking for a Sr. Android developer with 6+ years of experience who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Main Responsibilities of an Android Developer

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Writing clean and efficient codes for Android applications.

2. Monitoring the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level.

3. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs, and enhancing application performance.

4. Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code.

5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.

6. Staying up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.

Key Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.

2. You have prior experience as an Android Developer using Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK and Android NDK will be a plus but not compulsory.

3. The candidate should have experience in publishing applications on the Google Play store.

4. Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP.

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications.

6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

7. Familiarity with various testing tools.

Android

• Strong understanding of the OOPS concept.
• Working experience in Java and Kotlin language. (Must)
• Knowledge of Offline Sync, Multithreading, Realm/Room/SQLLite databases, Live data, Socket Programming. (Must)
• Familiar with Android Jetpack components (Must)
• Idea/Experience of MVC/MVVM and MVP
• At least 1 live application on Playstore. (Must)
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

• Idea/experience in RxJava, RxKotlin
• Idea/experience of unit and instrumentation testing in Android
• Knowledge of Web RTC.
• Experience with tools like Git, Jira, Basecamp, BitBucket, Azure DevOps would be an advantage.
• Good to have experience working with IOT projects, Bluetooth technologies
• Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contribution will be a big plus
• Having personal apps in play store will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies.
