At Tiluf, We are looking for a React Native & Android native (Java + Kotlin) expert, who is extremely passionate about exploring and learning new areas and interested in working on a new-age hyper-reality social network that's changing how people interact with others around them and working on AI/Ml based parallels in collaboration with "Meta" around body augmentation and generative AI in AR.

Mandatory:

• Previous experience and expertise working with React-native and Android native: > 3 years
• Experience in writing node modules/bridges
• Should be comfortable with relocating to Bangalore. Team Tiluf greatly enjoys working together in the same office space.

Location: Tiluf, opp. JPMorgan, Marathalli, Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

• Making the Tiluf exosystem more efficient, scalable, instant, and user-friendly so that it can cater to millions of users around the world.
• Working in collaboration with "Meta" on AI/Ml based parallels focusing on body augmentation and generative AI in AR.
• Working on improving the in-house XR technology.
• Designing architecture for the system to make it more efficient and scalable.
• Collaborating with UI/UX team for making a world-class user experience
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to make automated marketing in-app flows.
• Collaborating with the Community team to make the product as engaging as possible.

Required Skills:

• Coding Ninja - great at writing logic and designing architecture.
• Expertise in native Android(Java + kotlin)
• Knowledge and interest in AI/Ml - https://developers.google.com/ar/develop/java/machine-learning - This will be the starting point
• Expertise in React Native
• Rock-solid at working with and writing native modules/bridges.
• Always motivated to take the lead and learn new things.
• 3 + years of a firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax, and have the ability to write well-documented clean Javascript code.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Redux-saga, AsyncStorage

Required:

1. A minimum of 1 years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience
2. Understanding of Android Framework and Android app development.
3. Experience in developing android apps using Kotlin and latest frameworks
4. Knowledge and understanding of Design-Patterns and Data Structures.
5. Ability to develop Android applications using latest Frameworks like Retrofit, RxJava
6. Ability to write Unit test cases using the frameworks.
7. Knowledge about how to consume the REST API's
8. Understanding of Git/BitBucket or any version control system
9. Good written and verbal communication skills.
10. B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MSC/MS

Preferred:

1. Understanding and usage of latest android frameworks like JetPack, Android Architectural components
2. Experience in mentoring the new team members and also the junior folks.
3. Exposure to various mobile architectures (ex: MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc..)
4. Experience in handling the Android app deployment process.
5. Experience in working in Agile methodology

Opportunity:

Create a consumer facing front end application that will be used by millions of users. 

What you will do:

• Develop our mobile apps using Swift/ObjectiveC.
• Work with backend, frontend, and other developers to build out a customer-centric experience that will constantly evolve.
• Work with our designers and customer success team to create a seamless user experience.
• Respond to support team tickets as needed to resolve bugs and issues.
• Participate in contributing ideas, updates, and product development areas to the team.

Experience Range: 

3-5 years with technical hands-on experience in building a consumer mobile app. You must have shipped an app to the stores.

Technical Expertise:

• 3-5 years experience with iOS native apps.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and ObjectiveC.
• Strong command of JavaScript ES6.
• Know how to build (fairly) complex layouts without using any CSS frameworks.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills using data structures.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bias for action shipping quality code quickly.

 Proven working experience of minimum 3+ Years in Android app development (Min 2Yrs. experience in Kotlin)

- Have strong knowledge in Kotlin and Java.

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software engineering practices, Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Solid programming skills in Java/Kotlin.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience in Reactive programming, Asynchronous programming and Unit Testing will be an added advantage.
• 6-10 years of experience in product driven organization.
