Role Overview:

 We’re looking for a MERN Stack Engineer (SDE-2) who’s passionate about building impactful products and believes in working smarter—with AI copilots, automation, and lean dev cycles. You’ll be part of a high-ownership team responsible for delivering full-stack features, writing testable code, and deploying to production with CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain robust full-stack applications using MongoDB, Nest.js, React.js, and Node.js.

• Actively leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for faster development, documentation, and writing test cases.

• Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.

• Own features end-to-end—from design to deployment using modern CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Vercel, AWS).

• Collaborate with product, data, and hardware teams in a lean setup to ship fast and iterate often.

• Ensure performance, responsiveness, and scalability of front-end and backend systems.

Required Skills:

• 2–5 years of professional experience building products using the MERN stack.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture (React Hooks, Context API/Redux).

• Proficiency in Node.js, Express, and MongoDB schema design.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and cloud deployments.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).

• Demonstrated use of AI-based coding assistants in real-world development workflows.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to IoT systems or integration with hardware devices.

• Experience working with LoRaWAN protocols and sensor data ingestion.

• Familiarity with WebSockets, MQTT, or real-time data processing.

• Background in agriculture, climate-tech, or rural tech products.

• Knowledge of TypeScript or serverless architectures.

Experience: 
- 4-10 years of Full Stack Application development experience is must. 
- Deep understanding of client side development, coding in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6, and jQuery. 
- Strong experience using a client side MVC framework such as NodeJS, React JS, NextJS and Redux.
- Top notch programming skills and write code for robust software design. 
- Experience in responsive design, cross browser compatibility and website performance. 
- Experience in object oriented design skills. 
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills. 
- Good understanding of how browsers and DOM work. 
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket.

Responsibilities : 
- To work with a cross-functional software development team on highly visible strategic projects as an expert level individual contributor to the coding tasks assigned. 
- Responsible for development of highly responsive, web based UI in a flexible and well-structured frontend architecture. 
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON 
- Experience with third party libraries and APIs 
- Produce well designed efficient code in a timely manner to meet delivery timescales/milestones. 
- Mentor other developers on software best practices technical guidance and help grow their software development skill sets. 

Security Innovation is hiring a full-stack Django/Python developer to join our internal tools and automation development lead to improve and maintain our reporting portal and build new and exciting customer-facing features. Our reporting portal is a critical piece of our Application Security Assessment team infrastructure, it helps us to automate attacks and drives the authoring and reviewing process of almost every document we write and deliver to our customers. We have an exciting roadmap of new features that will help automate more attacks and improve the efficiencies for our Security Engineers, Project Managers, and the company as a whole.

Working closely with our engineers, other developers, Director of Services, SVP of Engineering, and CFO, you will help deliver valuable features from a growing list of features. You will be involved in choices that drive our front-end design, improvements in our CI/CD pipeline, and building and integrating new and novel scanners and automation.

• 2+ years of production web development experience
• Experience developing internal tools
• A public repository of code or a portfolio of applications or websites

Our ideal candidate is someone who is an exceptional JS developer with significant experience on React and Node. You should be able to build and support complex applications single-handedly with a keen eye towards UX, design, security and performance. Additionally you will need to have a basic understanding of microservices, API integrations to aid in achieving our vision of building the most robust and scalable integration platform in the B2B Retail + Food verticals. You will be responsible for architecture, design and implementation of the entire system to support thousands of customers globally. Our stack is primarily built around Node, PHP, React, Angular, Mongo, PHP and advanced Infra and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK and more.

Mentoring should come naturally to you, as well as finding the right balance towards process and documentation.

1) We have a strict no-divas rule. There are a lot of smart engineers on the team but no one with an attitude / superiority complex.
2) If you think writing tests for your code, writing docs, doing customer support etc are not your cup of tea, this isn't the right role for you.
