Senior Full Stack Engineer (React Native)

Project Overview

We’re building Express AI, a SaaS platform that allows small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to easily train and deploy their own dedicated AI agents for customer service, technical support, sales, and more.

Our vision is to give SMBs the power of enterprise-grade AI without complexity. You’ll help build the core platform that powers this – including agent training interfaces, web deployment, dashboards, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable full-stack features using modern JavaScript frameworks

• Build and maintain AI agent training modules (upload docs, FAQs, tone settings)

• Integrate OpenAI, Whisper, LangChain, and other LLM APIs

• Implement user-facing dashboards for chat/voices/social/email agent monitoring

• Design multi-tenant systems with admin-level controls

• Ensure reliability and scalability of the platform as we grow

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB (or Postgres), Redis

• AI & NLP: OpenAI API (ChatGPT, Whisper), LangChain, Python (optional)

• DevOps: Docker, AWS or GCP (basic familiarity okay)

• Other: WebSockets for real-time chat, REST APIs, Git

Role Type

• Full Stack Developer (preferred)

• Frontend or Backend specialists also considered, but must be willing to collaborate on both sides

Experience Level

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience

• Previous work with SaaS platforms, AI tools, or multi-tenant architecture is a big plus

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Strong experience with React.js and Node.js

• Experience working with REST APIs and building secure web apps

• Solid understanding of cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Firebase)

• Ability to work independently, self-manage, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI, AI agent frameworks

• Experience with voice/chat integration

• Prior experience building tools for SMBs or customer support systems

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Perform full stack development activities using MERN Stack
2. Ability to translate UX Designs into functional web apps using React JS
3. Technical architecture design along with system architect and product manager
4. Writing effective business logic (using Rest API or GraphQL API)
5. Algorithm design for system modules
6. Database design for scalable and secure system using NoSQL (MongoDB) or RDBMS (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
7. POC development with other engineers
8. Efforts estimations with Product Manager and Engineering Head
9. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
10. Writing Unit testing for robust system
11. Technical documentation

Requirement & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent stream. PG is good to have
2. Strong Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
3. Hands on experience in MERN stack (MySQL or PostgreSQL would be plus)
4. Hands on experience to develop Rest/GraphQL API using Node.js with Typescript.
5. Hands on experience on AWS services (EC2, SQS, SES, Lambda).
6. Fundamentals of Docker/Containerized application development would be plus
7. Experience working with US Clients is a Must
8. Experience and Exposure working with different projects and business models will be an advantage
9. 5+ years of experience as Full Stack Development (MERN stack)
10. Experience in SaaS product development would be a plus
11. Experience in other JS frameworks like Next.JS, React Native/Expo would be plus

The Software Engineer – Order and Corporate Solutions is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the full stack for Order and Corporate solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Implement application components and systems according to department standards and guidelines.
2. Work with product and designers to translate requirements into accurate representations for the web.
3. Analyze, design, code, debug, and test business applications.
4. Code reviews in accordance with team processes/standards.
5. Understand and work with data in varying degrees of complexity and scale.

7. Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
