Our growing software technology business is looking for a Mid Level Full Stack Developer to join our Development Team. POSITION DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate need for a highly motivated Mid Level Node Software Developer to provide software development expertise and hands-on implementation using the latest open source server-side JavaScript technologies on the Node platform and other related open source products.
REQUIRED
• Strong software development experience with Node.js in addition to detailed understanding of user interface frameworks, back-end software architecture interactions and node module capabilities.
• One or more years' experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks/technologies such as Express.js, Angular.js, React.js, MobX or Flux.js.
• Strong development experience using Node.js.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Portfolio of application(s)
DESIRED SKILLS
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with source code versioning and Pull Requests with Git repositories.

• Experience in other languages such as .net, including VB and C# are a plus

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Deliver new functionality for the internal production platform and enhancements.
Monitor and optimize application performance.
Closely collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operation and IT Support on all stages of software development life cycle.
Desired experience and qualifications:

3 to 5 years of software development experience.
Ruby software development.
Web Services/Application Development.
Relational Databases, especially Oracle OR any NoSQL databases.
Ruby database libraries such as Sequel, Active Record.
Exposure to Javascript development frameworks, especially EXT JS.
Source code control systems, especially Git.
Database tools such as SQL Developer.
Cloud (mainly Azure) exposure is an added advantage.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

-You’ve got 3+ years of development experience and an expert in the Ruby and Rails framework.

-You’re a Hands-on expert who can code, architect/design systems, and understand building highly available and scalable microservices on cloud infrastructure.

-You have a very good understanding of Containers and Container Orchestration Technology such as Docker / Kubernetes and AWS Cloud Platform exposure.

-You’ve hands-on experience in using DevOps tools such as Newrelic, Jenkins, Grafana, ELK, etc

Technical qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience in delivering web applications. 
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails, API design and architecture.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming(OOPs) concepts, data structures, algorithms, APIs, web services, SQL concepts.
• Experience in any JS frameworks like Express. js/Node. js/AngularJS/ReactJS.
