WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You should have worked with automation tools like Selenium using Java/Python (or any other programming language). You should be able to create automation frameworks for different product scenarios and have good hands-on experience and knowledge of writing test scripts within TestNG and/or BDD frameworks. Should have good logical ability, testing aptitude, innovative thinking, a desire to learn new things and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. API Testing knowledge and hands-on experience would be an added advantage. You must be able to work independently as well as in a group towards a common objective. Good communication skills are a plus.

We are looking for a resource having good hands-on experience on Selenium with C# for UI and POSTMAN for API test automation.

Technical Skills:

Test Automation experience of at least 5+ years using Selenium with C# for UI and POSTMAN for API test automation.

Experience in windows application Functional testing, web application testing, API testing  

Must have implemented the data-driven automation framework for web applications using Selenium with C#

Strong experience with coding standards around test automation, primarily Selenium.

Responsible for analysis, design, development and execution of test cases and test suites.  

Must have a deep understanding of Software testing life cycle, Software testing methodologies and QA procedures  

Must have strong knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)  

Experience in test management and defect management tools e.g. Azure DevOps, ALM, JIRA, etc.  

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  

Process Skills:

Must possess problem solving skills and be proactive in researching  

Thorough understanding of agile development methodology and test automation

Very good understanding of test automation process using Selenium with C#

• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements for APIs

• Document functional and non-functional testing scenarios and cases where needed, on one of the test management tools
• Identify or create data for testing 
• Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure
• Develop test automation scripts using tools like RestAssured and SoapUI
• Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, etc.
• Validate feedback, response time, and error code
• Validate XML and JSON body using JSON Parser 
• Raise PR to check in code for test automation scripts
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and automation scripts

• Work closely with members of the development team to solve any issues identified. This includes deploying diggable build in test environments, understanding and debugging application code is required to resolve any blockers.
