IT Applications Senior Quality Assurance: (Remote) (Arabic Language)

Job Summary:

The Senior IT Applications Quality Assurance (QA) will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex IT applications for the organization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT applications are tested in accordance with industry-standard QA methodologies and best practices. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as deep understanding of QA processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement QA strategies and processes that align with industry standard methodologies.

• Develop QA test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex IT applications.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to support regression and integration testing.

• Plan, execute, and manage QA activities from requirements analysis to release sign-off.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysts, project managers, and infrastructure teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Communicate test progress, results, and issue resolution to project stakeholders, management, and technical audiences.

• Manage and monitor the defect lifecycle process, including tracking, reporting, and resolution.

• Continuously improve and optimize the QA process, including working with IT colleagues to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

• Ensure that QA activities comply with organizational policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor

• At least 7 years of experience in IT quality assurance, with a track record of successful delivery of complex IT applications, with an emphasis on automation testing.

• Certification- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)/ Certified Software Tester (CSTE) Certification.

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid.

• Strong understanding of automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber.

• Experience with code review, performance, and security testing.

• Experience with mobile application testing preferred.  

• Strong knowledge of IT risk management frameworks and IT governance best practices.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to mentor and train less experienced IT QA professionals.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Professional with 5–10 years of experience specializing in Pega Testing. In this role, you will design, execute, and manage testing strategies for complex, large-scale enterprise applications built on the Pegaplatform. You will ensure the seamless performance, integration, and functionality of workflows and case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Define, design, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases specifically tailored for Pega BPM applications.

• Functional & Rule Validation: Validate Pega rulesets, case management flows, data pages, routing logic, declarative expressions, and access groups.

• Automation Leadership: Design and maintain automated test frameworks for PegaUI and API layers using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Tosca, or Pega Autotest.

• Defect & Defect Triaging: Track, analyze, and report defects using Jira, collaborating closely with Pega developers and Business Analysts to resolve complex issues.

• Regression & Integration Testing: Execute rigorous regression testing for Pegaplatform upgrades and test end-to-end integration with third-party APIs and databases.

• Mentorship & Quality Control: Lead a team of QA engineers, conduct test case reviews, and enforce industry-standard QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pega Expertise: 4+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in testing Pega PRPC applications (Pega 8.x experience preferred).

• Certifications: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA), Certified System Architect (CSA), or Certified Pega QA is highly desirable.

• Testing Automation: Proven experience using automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, Tosca, Cucumber, or SoapUI/Postman for API testing) within a Pegaecosystem.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SQL, XML, JSON, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex business requirements and user stories into structured test scenarios.

The candidate should have hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications, particularly business applications such as CRM, ERP, HRMS, Complaint Management Systems, CMS, and E-commerce websites.

The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing testing activities, identifying defects, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with development and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications, including CRM, ERP, HRMS, Complaint Management Systems, CMS, and E-commerce applications.
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on bugs through the complete defect lifecycle.
