Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Fashion Bag Designer specializing in Beaded and Embellished Bags for our Export House in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in design development, material sourcing, and creating innovative handcrafted bags that cater to international fashion markets.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design and develop new collections of beaded, embroidered, and embellished bags as per seasonal trends and buyer requirements.

·         Research global fashion trends, color palettes, materials, and beadwork techniques.

·         Create mood boards, sketches, and CADs for concept presentation and buyer approval.

·         Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.

·         Develop detailed technical sheets for materials, embroidery, and embellishment layouts.

·         Coordinate with buyers, merchandisers, and suppliers for design finalization and approvals.

·         Maintain design archives, product specifications, and cost sheets for reference.

·         Ensure high quality and craftsmanship standards are met for export markets.

·         Mentor and guide junior designers to maintain brand aesthetics and quality consistency.

Key Requirements:

·         Minimum 10+ years of experience in Beaded / Embellished Bag Design within an export house or fashion accessories brand.

·         Strong creative vision with understanding of color, texture, and global fashion trends.

·         Expertise in hand embroidery, beadwork, and embellishment design.

·         Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.

·         Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.

·         Ability to manage end-to-end design process and meet tight deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

● A well-curated online and/or print portfolio/case study demonstrating UX/UI design skills, curiosity, positive attitude and strong drive to learn from a fast paced environment.

● Proven UX/UI design experience for multiple platforms including desktop, mobile, tablet.

● Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction. Additionally experience in data informed and customer centric approach to design is key.

● Solid experience in creating wireframes, prototype, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.

● Proficiency in simplifying complex information through end-to-end experiences designs while co-creating with all the senior designers for smooth implementation.

● Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, tools, techniques, and technologies and their role in a commercial environment

● 4-7 years of relevant experience with a B. DeS/M. DeS in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related is an advantage.

● General understanding of the front-end development process, including HTML and CSS.

● Ability to speak fluent English is a must. Demonstrable proficiency in presenting your designs and selling your solutions to various stakeholders through clear communication is key.
