QA- Automation Test Engineer

1. B.E/B.Tech Degree from a reputed institution with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
2. Hands-on experience with test automation using Python or Java.
3. Experience with test frameworks such as Robot Framework or TestNG.
4. Traffic generation tools usage such as curl-loader or JMeter.
5. QA engineers for Networking Technology products such as switches, routers, L4-L7 products testing can also apply.
6. Knowledge of public clouds, AWS, Azure or GCP, is desired.
7. Working knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker or Openshift environments required.
8. Hands on experience with Linux.
9. Strong problem solving and debugging abilities.
10. Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
11. Interest in machine learning (ML) and data science is a plus.

Job Description:
We are looking for a QA Lead who will be owning the overall quality and reliability of our products. As a leader, you will mentor and build a team of QA engineers, acquiring in-depth knowledge of our products, establishing best practices/processes, and value automation over manual testing. If you enjoy building impactful products from scratch and influencing product direction, the role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
● Own overall quality of our products
● Automate all aspects of QA
● Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple products
● Establish and maintain QA processes, champion continuous testing/automation

📃Requirements
● 6+ years of proven experience in software testing

• Design and plan how test automation will be used within the company, you will then need to execute the plan.
• Test simple to moderately complex application components based on functional requirements in production and dev environments.
• Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects; verify problem fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner
• Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure deliverables meet requirements and expectations
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.
• Detects and tracks software defects and inconsistencies and reports them to development and project management teams.
• Working with product owners and developers to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features
• Work both individually and as part of a team.

 TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 4 years of experience testing solutions in object-oriented design and web applications developed using Python, Django, and Web API. Strong working knowledge of architecture and GUI usability.
• 4-year experience using selenium
• Minimum 1 year of experience in database testing with the ability to understand, write and execute SQL queries.
• A good understanding of software fundamentals including software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity, and maintainability.
• Ability to understand and approach projects in a logical and systematic manner so testing is detailed, thorough, and accurate.
• Experience with scripting experience is nice-to-have.
• Ability to communicate well and comfort in working with multiple internal and external teams.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test procedures
• Ability to teach yourself new technologies, processes, and products at a fast pace.

 

 

Responsibilities Design and implement an automation solution framework based on system understanding and analysis of technology and system specifications. Develop appropriate automation test strategies and create automated test scripts, in coordination with the functional test strategy, including identifying data requirements and generate required test data subsequently. Execute automated functional, regression, and system tests for the core application and report test results and quality status accordingly. Update test cases as needed. Work on releases across teams and bridge the gaps. Work with customers to know their use cases and try to incorporate it in our internal environments. Train other QA personnel in test automation scripting. Coordinates with other teams to maintain the test environment. May perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 5 - 7 years core development experience as a Software Engineer. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures. Demonstrable experience in writing clean code quickly. Preferably Java coding. Test framework design and automation experience. Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes. Experience developing high quality test strategies and test automation. Skill set: Java or Python/Shell Scripting/Basic SQL. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

1. 4-5 years of experience in Testing of web applications by leading or supporting the across team members on suggesting a testing tools or technologies for doing the end to end testing. 2. Understanding of API architecture and testing the same 3. Understanding of Web services testing using REST tools 4. Experience in Mobile App Testing with multiple cross platforms and devices 5. Independently prepare Test Cases, Execute and Report test cycles for Manual and Exposed to Automated tests using Cypress or another equivalent tool. 6. Involves functional system testing and exposure to non-functional tests with end to end testing. 7. Experience in Ad-hoc, Black Box, Incremental Integration, Functional, Performance, Loading, Security, Compatibility, and Acceptance testing 8. Work closely with the Development Team & Product Manager to understand and analyze the requirements 9. Must be familiar with end to end STLC (Software Test Life Cycle) and its application to various software development methodologies like Agile, iterative and Waterfall. 10. Understanding of web-based application and architecture. 11. Must be hands on with SQL code to be able to perform data checks as when required 12. Setting up and managing the execution of the test cases in a Continuous Testing environment 13. Good to have hands on performance testing tool like Jmeter or Load Runner. 14. Demonstrates excellent process, documentation, team participation and problem - solving skills 15. Must be self-learning skills for performing the tasks by deadline 16. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 17. Any experience in front-end testing like Jest, Enzyme will be added advantage
