Python Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team and help us

develop and maintain various software products. A self-driven coder with a zeal to

learn and work on multiple projects. Ultimately responsible for building highly

responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

Required Skills:

1. Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using Python.

2. Extensive experience in designing applications using the framework Django Flask.

3. Must have good hands-on Django and Django Rest Framework for web

framework.

4. Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.

5. Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

6. Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process

architecture.

7. Basic understanding of web mark-up, front-end technologies such as JavaScript,

HTML5, and CSS3 .

8. Extensive experience with MySQL or any relational database.

9. Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.

10. Must be well versed with Docker.

11. Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as

mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.

12. Strong unit test and debugging skills.

13. Knowledge of AI, and chat GPT will be added.

14. Should have experience in LANG Chain.

15. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.

16. Must have basic knowledge of Machine Learning or Bots & and work experience is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Should be responsible for the development of applications in Python (Framework).

2. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

3. Will be mainly responsible for developing with Django & Flask framework.

4. Will be responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

5. Will be working in a team or individually as per the requirement.

6. Can also be involved in client handling, and requirement gathering as per the demand of the project.

7. Prime focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end

• Develop web APIs with the Flask web framework
• Use RDBMS databases with ORM layers (sqlalchemy) and develop service-level logic for the application
• Manage asynchronous jobs, graph algorithms, pipeline creation, reporting logic for analytical applications
• Write unit tests and functional tests for the APIs
• Follow software development practices with continuous testing, development and integration (CD/CI)
• Write and maintain technical design documents and new-feature documents
• Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, testers, and product managers
• Participate in peer-based code reviews and design reviews
• Follow agile methodology and encourage collaboration with tools such as GIT, Confluence and Slack applications
• Undergraduate degree or above in computer science preferred

• Knows python well
• Has used atleast 1 web framework in python: Flask / Django / FastAPI / Tornado / CherryPy / etc,
• Has used RDBMS databases with any ORM like dhango-orm, sqlalchemy, etc.
• Has used testing libraries like pytest, nose, unittests, etc. or softwares like jmeter, postman, etc.
• Basic knowledge about web servers (gunicorn, cherrypy, nginx, apache, etc.) and has worked on
• Basic knowledge about basics in asynchronous task management (celery, airflow, etc.), Security (CSP, CORS, etc.) and algorithm computation (graph theory, compiler theory, etc.)

• Building scalable web applications
• Integrating UI elements with server-side
• Handling Security and Data Protection
• Integrating front- end with SQL and NoSQL databases and ensuring its consistency
• Building reusable code and libraries
• Optimizing the code to improve its quality and efficiency

• 2+ yrs of Backend development experience
• You have excellent programming skills in python, ORM libraries and Django
• You have experience inbuilt tools like Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Rundeck
• You have experience in cross-browser/cross-platform front-end development with HTML/CSS/Javascript in Angular or similar frameworks
• You are an expert in SQL (Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySql, or similar) and NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
• You design, build and test RESTful web services.
• You have experience with Apache HTTP, NGINX, Tomcat or Jetty.

Requirements:

• 2-9 years hands on experience in Core Python with any framework (Flask/Django) building end to end applications development.
