Job Summary

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer with strong experience in FastAPI/Django and hands-on exposure to MLOps and LLMOps. You will work on building APIs, deploying ML/LLM models, and enabling intelligent systems using modern AI tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI, or Django
• Deploy and manage ML models (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-learn) and LLMs in production
• Develop APIs for ML/LLM inference and support RAG pipelines
• Implement model versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring for production use
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate models into applications

Skills Required

• Strong Python backend development (FastAPI/Django)
• Experience with ML libraries: scikit-learn, OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas
• MLOps tools: MLflow, DVC, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes
• LLMOps tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines, FAISS, Pinecone
• Integration experience with OpenAI, Hugging Face, or other LLM APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

What will I do?

- Designing user flows and converting them into logical entities in the code.

- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

What skills should I have?

- 3+ years of experience in Backend Development.
- Language: NodeJs
- Additional knowledge of Python will be a plus
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

- Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

- Data migration, transformation, and scripting

- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Product Delivery
  • Partner with product managers to define and execute on the feature roadmap
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design

• Software Engineering
  • Deep knowledge of one of the programming language they have experience in
  • Proficient in OOP and Design Patterns, experience with functional programming would be a plus
  • Data modelling experience in Relational Databases
  • Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services
• Product Delivery
  • Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to alleviate dependency risks.
  • Well versed in working with agile methodologies which includes phases such as design, development, code review, testing and release management
  • Ability to have worked in a CI/CD environment, with hands on experience with Git or any similar source code management tools
• Product Maintenance
  • Experience troubleshooting server performance issues such as memory tuning, GC tuning, resource leaks etc
  • Continuously refactor applications to ensure high quality design

You have 5 years or more of Backend end development experience with expertise in designing and implementing high-performance applications.

Worked with and built high-performance products using Node Js/GoLang/ Python and have seen the product evolution cycle from PoC to Production

You have a deep understanding of design principles and can rightly judge/implement solutions to complex problems

You are capable of writing high-quality code that conforms to the standards and best practices in a particular language/framework.

You have experience building a product using a mainstream library or framework.

You love to own end to end responsibility, starting from defining the problem statement (either yourself or alongside your peers), development (PoC if needed), testing, releasing in staging & then production environment, and finally monitoring.

Previous work experience in product-based startups

Experience building for products that have scaled and have seen the product evolution

• As a Senior Core Java Developer, you will have a range of responsibilities from shaping and implementing strategic products to ensuring that company stays on the leading edge of technology
  • You will have generic capabilities across application development stack and strong technical expertise in one / two application layers
  • Excellent working knowledge of the following technologies:
  • Implementation exp (hands-on) on Server Side Java technologies (Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrent API’s, Executor services, collections, concurrent packages, DS/Algo, design patters/principles, basic data case, Junit/agile)
