Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3 years of experience to join our

team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python,

Django, and PostgreSQL, along with a good understanding of backend development.

Knowledge of Java will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language - one or more from Python, JavaScript, NodeJS

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team to help build and maintain our growing list of products. You should have prior experience being responsible for building sufficiently complex features by yourself.

Responsibilities: 

• Implement product features by writing clean, robust, reusable code with tests
• Conduct peer reviews to keep the codebase a great environment to work on
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Bring new ideas and best practices to improve the team and the codebase

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Proficiency in backend programming languages like Python
• Experience working with web application frameworks like Django
• Experience in building web services using relational databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB

• Experience in building REST APIs and a good understanding of best practices around building APIs

Skills And Qualifications

• 3+ years of good hands-on experience in Python, with knowledge of Django

• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GIT.
• Has experience of working in an Agile Environment. Fluent in English (written and oral) Fluency in a second language is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely with great communication skills for a remote work environment.

Bonus Qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated engineers with the following skillset-

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
• Experience using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend, etc. - any 1 is required
• VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS - knowledge of any 1 is required
• Between 1-5 years of work experience is required
• Very strong data structure and algorithm knowledge
• Ideal candidate would be a very strong developer with great coding skills
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously
