Fullstack Developer

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead the backend development team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js and NestJS with TypeScript.

- Implement event sourcing and message queue solutions using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Utilize strong PostgreSQL knowledge to design, optimize, and manage databases effectively.

- Implement DevOps practices and tools to ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes.

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces seamlessly.

- Lead and contribute to architectural discussions and decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on backend technologies.

- Proven leadership experience as a team lead or senior developer, with a track record of mentoring junior developers and leading successful projects.

- Profound expertise in Node.js and NestJS with TypeScript.

- Experience with event sourcing and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and management.

- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers.

- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Participating in design discussions, documentation, and development with the team as needed.
• Working closely with the product manager for deliverables and milestones identification.
• Reporting to technical lead/manager on daily activities planned, expected deliverables, and reports as defined for the project.
• Participating in requirement gatherings as required.

• At least 3 years of proven experience of working as a software developer, out of which at least 2 years must be spent in a solid back end role
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiarity with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Experience in taking a problem to a product solution (module/product) from scratch - a proven record of shipping on time and budget
• You've worked with startups before and understand the fast-paced, dynamic nature of work

Job Description:

We are looking for Tech geeks having hands-on experience and in love with building scalable, distributed and large web/mobile products and tech solutions. He/She must be an excellent problem solver with passion to self-learn and implement web technologies (frontend + backend). He/She would be responsible for the architecture design, code review, and technology build and deployment activities of the product. 

    Responsibilities:-

• Own the product development from scratch.
• Architect scalable, distributed and large-scale web and mobile solutions from scratch.
• Code for fresh development and to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Able to learn & implement new technology/framework/library at God Speed.
• Customer-focused, react well to changes, work with teams and be able to multitask.
• Experience and knowledge of open-source tools and frameworks, broader cutting edge technologies around server side development. 

   Desired Candidate Profile:-

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field(or combined with related experience)
• Strong Expertise in Node.js/Javascript
• Hands-on experience in writing Node.js applications
• Deep knowledge of Restful APIs, Web Services, command-line programs and solid design principles.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express.js,Sails.js,StrongLoop, Meteor,Loopback.js, etc
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database(MongoDB)
• Knowledge of tools like Docker, Git, Postman, JSdocs, etc.
• Well versed with front-end technologies - HTML5, and CSS3, AWS, GCP, Azure, Good hold on CLI command, OS
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, both dynamic(Javascript, Python, Ruby, etc.) and strongly typed object-oriented language.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high energy, fast growing and start-up workplace.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Worked as a Node.js developer on multiple projects with relevant experience between 1 to 4+ Years.
• Extensive knowledge of Nodejs, JavaScript, APIs, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Able to work on independent nodejs projects.
• Experience in mongoDB database queries. Able to write and manage complex DB queries .
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Lead a full product development lifecycle from ideation, design, development, to roll out and support
• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end while hands-on in development as well
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure)

1. 7+ Years’ of experience, managing teams of 5+ people
2. Must have excellent programming, debugging and scripting skills with a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design principles.
3. Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, NodeJS, Go, JavaScript, Python programming stacks, and passion for software engineering and craftsman-like coding prowess
4. Knowledge of software practices like refactoring, clean code, domain driven design, Encapsulation etc
5. Hands on experience managing databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
6. Exposure to event driven systems and event streaming engines like Kafka
7. Good knowledge of DevOps tooling like docker, kubernetes, ansible/chef, AWS.
