Backend Developer

• 4+ years of experience in IT
• Demonstrable expertise in Golang development services, including a deep understanding of its syntax, advanced features, and standard library
• Familiarity with Go routines and channel patterns, as well as experience in writing high-performance Go code
• Solid grasp of web development fundamentals, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful API design, data structures, and WebSockets
• Experience with designing and implementing microservices in Go and an understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop,  implement and evolve our backend platform (whose APIs and functionality provided are used by other game services, apps, and admin back office)
• Develop highly efficient, robust, quality code for applications and services
• Maintain clean coding practices
• Enhancing and supporting existing functions, some of which are 24/7
• Supporting product owners as required
• Providing support to the testing team during testing phases of the projects
• Contributing to solution proposals as required
• Creating work effort estimates as required
• Mentor, train on the best practices junior software associates and other team members.

• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, Build Pipelines is good to have

As the Data Science Engineer in CREST, you will

● Write reusable code and build libraries for future use
● Establish solid data-pipelines and automate routine tasks
● Develop & deploy custom Machine Learning (ML) models using the latest
research in ML and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
● Build performant applications following best practices, maximizing speed and scalability
● Improve upon the existing codebase mitigating technical debt

Requirements
● Proficient understanding of Python language
● Expertise with data-modelling, data-wrangling & data-mining techniques
