Job Summary:
We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle company purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store and production departments for material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Verify invoices and coordinate with accounts for payments.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or similar role.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Knowledge of raw material sourcing and vendor management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
