Key Responsibilities
1. Material & Production Quality Control
Inspect incoming façade materials (aluminum profiles, glass, brackets, sealants,
fasteners, etc.) for compliance with approved specifications.
Monitor façade fabrication processes, including cutting, machining, assembly, and
glazing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Verify proper calibration and operation of machinery used in façade production.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of façade panels and units.
2. Installation Site Quality Control
Inspect façade installation on-site, ensuring alignment, fixing, sealing, waterproofing,
and thermal insulation meet approved drawings and method statements.
Monitor installation tolerances, anchorage systems, and structural safety
requirements.
Identify non-conformities at the site and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
3. Testing & Compliance
Conduct or supervise façade-related tests such as water penetration tests, air
infiltration tests, structural load tests, adhesion tests, and visual inspections.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASTM, BS,
EN, ISO), and local building regulations.
Prepare and maintain test reports, inspection checklists, and NCRs (Non-
Conformance Reports).
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed QC documentation including ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), MIRs
(Material Inspection Requests), WIRs (Work Inspection Requests), and QC daily
logs.
Support QA/QC Manager in compiling QA documentation for project handover.
Track and follow up on corrective actions and improvements.
5. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with production supervisors, site engineers, project managers, and
subcontractors regarding quality issues.
Participate in quality meetings, site inspections, and audits.
Provide technical guidance and training on quality procedures for façade works.

Education
