About the Role
We are looking for a performance-driven SEO Specialist with strong expertise in technical and content SEO to drive organic growth across our travel platforms. This role involves improving search visibility, increasing organic traffic, and maximizing conversions across key travel services such as flights, hotels, holiday packages, and destination content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic
- Conduct in-depth keyword research focused on travel queries (flights, hotels, destinations, packages)
- Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with the tech team to resolve crawling, indexing, and site performance issues
- Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, internal linking, canonical tags, and structured data
- Plan and implement SEO-driven content strategies (destination pages, blogs, city pages, travel guides)
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify keyword gaps and growth opportunities
- Build high-quality backlinks using ethical (white-hat) SEO practices
- Improve website performance, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability
- Implement and manage schema markup for travel-related pages (hotels, flights, FAQs, reviews)
- Monitor SEO performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Collaborate with content, product, and development teams for SEO alignment
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO
- Experience working on large-scale websites or e-commerce/travel platforms
- Hands-on experience with tools like:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush / Ahrefs
- Screaming Frog
- Google Tag Manager (preferred)
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience in content optimization and SEO planning
