• 7+ years of demonstrated ability to develop resilient, high-performance, and scalable code tailored to application usage demands.
• Ability to lead by example with hands-on development while managing project timelines and deliverables. Experience in agile methodologies and practices, including sprint planning and execution, to drive team performance and project success.
• Deep expertise in Node.js, with experience in building and maintaining complex, production-grade RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience writing batch/cron jobs using Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience in web application development using JavaScript and JavaScript libraries.
• Have a basic understanding of Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and REST based applications.
• Experience/Familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL Database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch and other similar databases.
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Understanding of building applications deployed on the cloud using Google cloud platform(GCP)or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Job Title: Django Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Django developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience with the Django framework, proficiency in

Python, and a strong understanding of web development best practices. The Django

developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining

web applications that meet our clients; needs.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using the

Django framework.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new

features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Integrate user-facing elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement

and maintain RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with

server-side logic.

Work with databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and

optimising performance.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in the development and production

environments.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best

practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Django developer or similar role.

Strong understanding of Python and the Django web framework.

Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of relational databases, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and

database design.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Understanding of web security best practices.

- Will be involved in developing new monitoring scripts, enhancement & defect fixes on existing monitors

- Have to be on-call to support any incoming production/P1 internal issues which need urgent attention (team members are on call for a week and we have a weekly rotation policy within the team)
