Python Backend Developer (5+ years experience)

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Python and Django development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MySQL and MongoDB databases, as well as knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance Python applications using the Django framework
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Optimize database queries and schema design for improved performance
• Integrate applications with various APIs and third-party services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python and Django development
• Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB databases, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for continuous learning and innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes added advantages

• More than 5 years of experience in Java programming  
• Frameworks like Spring(Boot, Core, MVC)or Hibernate 
• Good knowledge in design and architectural patterns, with an understanding of Web Services, micro service architectures and REST Based APIs. 
• Good knowledge in Agile, JIRA and ALM 
• Cloud environments (AWS,Azure…) 
• Good Database knowledge (Oracle/ MySQL) 
• Previous exposure to banking or financial is preferable 
• Desire to get into the development of a top core-banking platform; you will receive specific training on Temenos T24 according to your career plan.

Job description

○ Working experience on JAVA,Spring Boot. (on building web services?)

○ NOSQL DynamoDB knowledge is plus

○ Working experience in building micro services and distributed systems

○ Working experience on using messaging queues RabbitMQ/Kafka is plus

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate scalable software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Design, develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Develop web applications implementing MVT architecture using Django web application frameworks
• Write effective APIs using industry standard design patterns
• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
• Should be able to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it
• Development of applications leveraging Django/Flask based REST APIs

• Work with server-side technologies including databases and MVC/MVT patterns
• Maintain version control system such as GIT
• Should know all the phases of SDLC from requirement gathering to support and maintenance.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years provable experience as a Back End Developer
• Familiarity with common solution stacks 
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and system design, for scale, performance and security
• Ability to develop back-end website applications
• Knowledge of middleware languages (Python – Flask/Django) and/or JavaScript framework like Node.js
• Familiarity with databases (RDBMS – MySQL/PostgreSQL, optionally NoSQL DBs like MongoDB), web servers (Apache) and UI/UX design

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field

• Hands-on experience in backend programming languages.
• Experience in Python 3.X & Django is a must. Knowledge of .NET, Java, PHP is an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience in front-end technologies like Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, etc.

• Experience with leading technical teams and acting as a technical mentor.
• Experience in client communication & reporting to the client-side management team.
• Experience in AWS is an added advantage.
