Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our Laravel, JavaScript (Node.js, React, Next.js), and Python development teams. The role involves building and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery across multiple environments.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Laravel, Node.js, and Python projects.

Automate application deployment and environment provisioning using AWS and containerization tools.

Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda).

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Manage configuration automation using Ansible.

Build and manage containerized environments using Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).

Monitor infrastructure and application performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Ensure system security, data integrity, and high availability across environments.

Collaborate with development teams to streamline builds, testing, and deployments.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.

Required Skills:

AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda)

CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Configuration Management: Ansible

Containers: Docker (Kubernetes preferred)

Scripting: Bash, Python

Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab

Web Servers: Apache, Nginx (preferred)

Databases: MySQL, MongoDB (preferred)

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a production environment.

Proven experience supporting Laravel, Node.js, and Python-based applications.

Strong understanding of CI/CD, containerization, and automation practices.

Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

Familiarity with agile and collaborative development processes.

Job Description:

• Drive end-to-end automation from GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket to Deployment,

Observability and Enabling the SRE activities

• Guide operations support (setup, configuration, management, troubleshooting) of

digital platforms and applications

• Solid understanding of DevSecOps Workflows that support CI, CS, CD, CM, CT.

• Deploy, configure, and manage SaaS and PaaS cloud platform and applications

• Provide Level 1 (OS, patching) and Level 2 (app server instance troubleshooting)

• DevOps programming: writing scripts, building operations/server instance/app/DB

monitoring tools Set up / manage continuous build and dev project management

environment: JenkinX/GitHub Actions/Tekton, Git, Jira Designing secure networks,

systems, and application architectures

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure product development

• Disaster recovery, network forensics analysis, and pen-testing solutions

• Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures

• Awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies, and

best practices

• Installation and use of firewalls, data encryption and other security products and

procedures

• Maturity in understanding compliance, policy and cloud governance and ability to

identify and execute automation.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will understand the overall movement of data in the entire platform, find bottlenecks,define solutions, develop key pieces, write APIs and own deployment of those. You will work with internal and external development teams to discover these opportunities and to solve hard problems. You will also guide engineers in solving the complex problems, developing your acceptance tests for those and reviewing the work and

the test results.

• As a DevOps Engineer responsible for systems being used by customer across the globe.
• Set the goals for overall system and divide into goals for the sub-system.
• Guide/motivate/convince/mentor the architects on sub-systems and help them achieving improvements with agility and speed.

• Identify the performance bottleneck and come up with the solution to optimize time and cost taken by build/test system.

• Be a thought leader to contribute to the capacity planning for software/hardware, spanning internal and public cloud, solving the trade-off between turnaround time and utilization.

• Bring in technologies enabling massively parallel systems to improve turnaround time by an order of magnitude.

What you will need

A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. As an integral part of the development team, you will need the following skills to succeed.

• BS or BE/B.Tech or equivalent experience in EE/CS with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong background of Architecting and shipping distributed scalable software product with good understanding of system programming.

• Excellent background of Cloud technologies like: OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Ceph is must.
• Excellent understanding of hybrid, multi-cloud architecture and edge computing concepts.
• Ability to identify the bottleneck and come up with solution to optimize it.
• Programming and software development skills in Python, Shell-script along with good understanding of distributed systems and REST APIs.

• Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Excellent knowledge and working experience with Docker containers and Virtual Machines.
• Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries to maximize alignment and productivity between teams.

• Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate.

• Deep understanding of technology and passionate about what you do.
• Background in designing high performant scalable software systems with strong focus to optimizehardware cost.

• Solid collaborative and interpersonal skills, specifically a proven ability to effectively guide andinfluence within a dynamic environment.

• Strong commitment to get the most performance out of a system being worked on.
• Prior development of a large software project using service-oriented architecture operating with real time constraints.
