As an Application Engineer, you will work with our Application Engineering team on designing and developing web applications. 

More specifically, you might:

• Collaborate with the business analysts and technical managers to understand functional, non-functional requirements, and scope.
• Design and develop multi-tier, cloud-native, high performance, and scalable solutions
• Involve in building world class and robust solutions by applying benchmarking software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Lead cross functional agile teams across the software development lifecycle
• Analyse design alternatives using proof-of-concepts, and engage with architects to choose the best optimal solutions
• Obsess about writing high-quality code and performing reviews of the design and code.
• Interact and collaborate with project/program managers to estimate, plan, and reduce technical concerns at the module or project level.
• Ideate with your peers. Being supportive of their work and providing constructive feedback on their solutions

What do we expect? 

• 4+ years of experience
• Experience in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications.
• A desire to write clean yet simple programs using Java / .Net core / Python with Django or Flask
• Keen interest in creating web servers using Node.js / Nginx
• A passion to store, organize, and process information by using database technologies - MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Experience in creating and designing test cases using Junit/ Selenium
• Exposure to Cloud environments - AWS / Azure / GCP
• Good understanding of working with API design and development

• Gather intelligence from key business leaders about needs and future growth

We are looking for an experienced game designer working primarily with Unity to be a part of our exciting game development team at Wow Labz. You would be part of a team that is working on designing and developing the future of games and interactive experiences. 

We are creating amazing experiences and hub worlds in the metaverse which integrate with our blockchain protocols to offer unique experiences. 

Your primary responsibilities would be prototyping various hub zones within the virtual world in Unity, developing scenes and environments as per the project requirement and also implementing various characters and avatars into the game world. You will also work with the backend team to integrate the world into a multiplayer experience.

• Create a fun, casual adventure world with various hubs and a marketplace!
• Create collectibles and architect an economy system inside the game.
• Create and design fun 3D models and avatars for the Player as well as NPCs. Work with cool libraries like Mixamo to implement fun animations and player world navigation systems. 
• Create exciting and custom face models for 3D characters! 
• Create and customize player animation trees and character animations while working with state-machines and co-op animations. Create fun emotes and player actions!
• Create awesomely fun multiplayer user-to-user interactions and emotes.
• Design responsive game UX/UI in Unity for various screen sizes and orientations. 
• Prototype and deploy scenes in a quick and efficient way and iterate on levels quickly.
• Integrate smart and performance-effective lighting techniques in-game based on time-of-day and other factors.
• Work with materials, textures and shaders for environmental objects as well as characters.
• Implement programmatic and spatial 3D sound in-game.
• Work with Cinemachine cameras and Timeline to create cut-scenes and programmatic camera movements.
• Create performant and optimized scenes. (Prefabs, reusable components, singletons).
• Profile and improve performance for mobile (Unity profiler, Rendering optimization).

• 2+ years of minimum production experience in Unity game development.
• Must have released at least 1 game commercially.
• Team player and takes responsibility for work, handles feedback well.
• Strong working knowledge of Unity systems like  Prefabs, Animations, UI, TextMeshPro, Profiler, Cinemachine, Terrain, 3D Sound, etc.
• Experience working with Blender, Maya and 3D pipeline for game dev.
• Strong grasp of Photoshop or other image manipulation tools.
• Strong AR/VR and Metaverse understanding is a bonus.
• Good knowledge of Unity C#.
• Experience with Git. (Unity Collaborate and PlasticSCM is a bonus)
• Knowledge of Visual Scripting is a bonus.
• Highly capable of executing in a fast-paced, virtual, changing environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Hands-on experience with developing Multiplayer games.
• Platform experience with releasing on Android and iOS.
• Experience writing custom shaders in Unity.

• Understanding & analyzing the requirement of the position based on client’s specifications.

• Sourcing of candidates via internet postings, networking, headhunting and internal Database.
• Ability to source resumes quickly and work on multiple positions simultaneously Thorough screening applications for identifying quality candidates.
• Sound knowledge on Sourcing Candidates thru RESDEX, Monster & various Job Sites.
• Excellent knowledge in Boolean function & usage of various job board database.

• Draft job descriptions push them through all talent acquisition channels and coordinate candidate sourcing with the same.

• Telephonic Screening of the profiles checking for Technical Fitment, Behavioral Fitment, Stability etc.

• 1+ year of experience
• Full responsibility for designing and building core back-end modules and system architectures.
• Good understanding of database concepts.
• Experience with at least two programming languages (PHP & GoLang).
• Experience in creating at least one web application.
• Knowledge of MySQL in-depth and basic understanding of MongoDB along with basic understanding about different paradigms of programming.
• Ability to interact and coordinate with a team.
• Should have a basic understanding of APIs.
• Modify code in time to keep code dry and reusable.
• Should have worked in at least one framework in the backend.
• A background in Software Architecture would be preferred.

• Develop data-driven web solutions on PHP frameworks (ideally CakePHP), but be undeterred when the need arises to create an application from the ground up as required, maintain, contribute and adhere to our programming best practices and guidelines.
• Work with a team of UI designers, programmers, and server admins, to bring brand new concepts to the market.
