About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer who is passionate about ensuring system scalability, reliability, and performance across enterprise applications. This role involves hands-on scripting, execution, analysis, and performance engineering using industry-leading tools and monitoring platforms.
As a candidate, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to identify bottlenecks, analyze system behavior under load, and help improve overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner
- Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across applications
- Work with multiple protocols including:
- HTTP/HTML
- Web Services
- Ajax TruClient
- MQ Protocol
- SAP
- Java-based applications
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Use monitoring tools to identify system bottlenecks at application, database, and infrastructure levels
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for performance tuning and optimization
- Support test debugging and performance engineering activities
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner
- Experience working with multiple performance testing protocols
- Hands-on exposure to at least one monitoring tool, such as:
- Splunk
- AppDynamics
- Dynatrace
- Grafana
- Solid understanding of performance test analysis and reporting
