About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Python Developer with strong experience in Flask framework to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and integrating databases/services in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python and Flask.
• Design and build RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.
• Write reusable, scalable, and efficient code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with databases and ensure data security and integrity.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Maintain proper documentation for development activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Flask framework.
• Good understanding of REST API development.
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with ORM libraries such as SQLAlchemy.
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Basic understanding of Docker and deployment processes is an added advantage.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS/Azure or cloud platforms.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like React or Angular is a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Job description

• Looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. His primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to request from the front-end. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Head responsibility to evaluate, design, develop and assist application systems. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Integration of data storage solutions & Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.

We at Joistic are a strong and focused team working on flutter and PHP Laravel. We are looking to add a backend dev to our team.

As a Backend Engineer at Joistic, you’ll be involved in working on admin panels, web apps, Rest Api creation etc. Having a good sense of UI/UX would be appreciated.

• Excellent in Jquery, HTML5, CSS, ReactJS or AngularJS.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development with strong focus on algorithms and data structures.
• Strong coding and design skills with prior experience in developing scalable & high availability applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate. 
• Work experience with Relational databases is required (Primarily MySQL)
• Prior work experience with Non-Relational databases (primarily Redis, MongoDb) is an added plus.
