Job Summary :

As a Software Engineer (Java), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based enterprise applications. You will work closely with Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative software solutions that exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong expertise in Java backend technologies, and a passion for developing high-quality software. This role also provides an opportunity to mentor junior engineers, participate in technical discussions, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis and collaborate with Product Management to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and prepare technical design documentation.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, UI, and Product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development best practices.
• Participate in technical interviews and hiring activities to support organizational growth.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to achieve project and organizational objectives.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17) and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server.
• Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns, and Multithreading.
• Angular, Bootstrap, Material Design, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube and static code analysis.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Must Have: 

● Experience in Java or Core Java (7+ years)

● Good Knowledge of Microservice, Multithreading, design pattern Concept 

● Framework: SpringBoot, Spring Security, JAX-RS, Hystrix, Kafka 

● ORM: Spring Data JPA. Hibernate 

● Cloud Service: AWS(MSK, S3), Serverless lambda Functions 

● Build tools: Maven, Gradle 

● Good To Have: Spring Webflux, Web Client, ecommerce domain experience. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.

Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, etc.).

Integration of User Interfaces developed by front end developers.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Must have a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or in similar field.

· Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP web development.

· Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

· Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (CodeIgniter, NodeJS)

· Experience in creating custom modules and themes.

· Expert knowledge in web architecture.

· Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and oops concept.

· Strong understanding of full synchronous behaviour of PHP.

· Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js

· Experience in MySQL and the ability to write SQL queries.

· Proficient understanding of source control management such as Git, SVN.

· Proficient understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

· Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.

· Ability to create database schemes that represent and support business processes.

· Experience with Edu Tech companies will be preferred.

What we value

• 2-3 Years of experience building and shipping API’s using python based frameworks
• Proficiency with NoSql Databases (Elastic, Mongo) is a must
• Experience in working with Amazon Cloud Services like SNS, SQS, VPC, etc. is preferred
• Experience with databases migration and system re-architecture is valued
• Ability to write modular, reusable, and clean code
• Comfortable with ticket management and documentation

- Profound knowledge about state-of-the-art technologies and standards (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, AJAX, JQuery, XML, and Linux) 

Experience with web services and Various frameworks (CakePHP, Symfony, ZEND, Laravel, etc) -

Capability to create an extension or module.

Responsibilities and Duties -

You will be taking ownership of a big project already in production. This project already has 25L registered users.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and Build API/Micro services using Spring boot.
• Experience in Spring Reactive programming.
• Exposure to docker and containerization
• Developing enterprise grade highly scalable java-based application
• Writing test cases using Java testing framework like JUnit, Mockito.
• Proficient understanding of code version tools, such as Git, SVN
• Displaying initiative and an ability to lead others, and develop applications team disciplined manner
• Participating in application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues, and application rationalization.
• Utilizing and applying robust analytic thinking with the ability to identify, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Achieving significant contributions within a small team of developers to lead teams and deliver solutions within an Agile methodology, whilst ensuring quality, timeliness and team-wide adherence to good architectural practice and guidelines.
• Good Experience in Application Software Design and Development, Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Software Testing and Debugging.
• Conduct peer code reviews

The candidate for the role will be responsible for enabling single view for the data from multiple sources. 

• Work on creating data pipelines to graph database from data lake
• Design graph database
• Write Graph Database queries for front end team to use for visualization
• Enable machine learning algorithms on graph databases
• Guide and enable junior team members

B.Tech with 2-7 years of experience

Must Have

Hands-on exposure to Graph Databases like Neo4J, Janus etc..

1. Hands-on exposure to programming and scripting language like Python and PySpark
2. Knowledge of working on cloud platforms like GCP, AWS etc.
3. Knowledge of Graph Query languages like CQL, Gremlin etc.
4. Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning

• Knowledge of working on Hadoop environment

• Knowledge of graph algorithms
