Job Description: Python Developer  

Location: Pune   Employment Type: Full-Time   Experience: 0.6-1+ year 

Role Overview 

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 0.6-1+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python, REST APIs, Flask, and databases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications.  
• Design and build RESTful APIs using Flask.  
• Integrate APIs with front-end and third-party services.  
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB,  Redis).  
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in backend applications.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.  
• Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.  

Required Skills  

• Strong proficiency in Python (0.6-1+ years).  
• Experience with Flask (or FastAPI/Django).  
• Hands-on experience with REST API development.  
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL & NoSQL).  
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.  

Preferred Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.  
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Your responsibilities as an Engineer: 

•     Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Skill sets we require:

•     Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer

•     Experience designing interactive applications

•     Ability to develop software in or other programming languages like JIRA or Postman

•     Excellent knowledge of relational databases, MYSQL and Restful API

•     Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Laravlel, Codeigniter and Magento)

•     Experience with test-driven development

•     Proficiency in software engineering tools

•     Ability to document requirements and specifications

Experience & Pedigree: 

•     Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

Roles and responsibilities

•             Hands-on 2-3 years of programming experience in PHP-MySQL

•             Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming

•             Experience in integration of REST API

•             Excellent in JavaScript and jQuery

•             Good Knowledge in JSON, XML, HTML5 and CSS3

•             Hands-on experience in MYSQL database in writing DDLs,          DMLs, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions and Indexing

•             Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•             Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP

•             Understanding of MVC design patterns

•             Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Preferably 5+ years of experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP) development stack
• Proven software development experience in PHP and of developing REST (JSON) / SOAP (XML) based web services
• Experience in Cloud platform like AWS/Azure
• Experience with HTML5 / JavaScript (JQuery) / CSS / AJAX / Angular / Yii Framework is preferred
• Experience in caching solutions like Redis and Memcached
• Experience in tools like Ansible, Docker
• Knowledge of source control systems such as GIT is a plus

• Be able to work in cross-function teams
• Write high-quality code per industry standards and best practices
• Test the code for quality assurance, debug identified bugs and resolve issues
• Support in deploying and maintenance of product and services
• Documenting product services progress, status, and manuals
• Participate in team meetings and planning & review sessions
