Role Overview

Euphoric Thought Technologies is looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performance-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

Build reusable, efficient, and scalable front-end components using React.js

Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js

Design and manage databases using MongoDB, including schema design and performance optimization

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces

Integrate third-party APIs and services

Ensure application security, data protection, and performance optimization

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications

Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3

Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)

Knowledge of REST APIs, JWT authentication, and role-based access control

Familiarity with Git/version control systems

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good understanding of web security and performance best practices

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to microservices architecture

Experience in IT services or custom application development projects

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions.
• May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm.
• The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages.
• Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead technical processes and designs considering reliability, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability, and scalability.
• Review code of development team to ensure quality and adherence to best practices and standards.
• Mentor junior developers to develop their skills and build strong talent.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure partners to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments.
• Define scalability and performance criteria for assigned applications.
• Ensure application meets the performance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Verify test plans to ensure compliance with performance and security requirements.
• Support business and technical presentations in relation to technology platforms and business solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required with Masters, or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• 7+ Years of Active Development Experience/ Expertise in Java/J2EE Based Applications proven ability with Hibernate, JPA, Spring, Spring MVC
• Exposure to XML/XSD, JSON and similar data presentation components
• Familiarity with Microservices based architecture and distributed systems.
• Ability to develop and work with REST APIs using Spring Boot framework.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ and messaging protocols such as JMS
• Understanding of Unix/Linux OS including shell scripting
• Strong database and PL/SQL skills
• Experience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, JoCoCo and Maven
• Experience with UI frameworks - Angular, NodeJS and NPM is a plus
• Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and similar UI frameworks (jQuery, React Angular) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology

What you need to have:

We are looking for a Developers who can create crafted web and mobile applications from UI using the React library. Your primary responsibility will be the implementation of visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions and ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.. You will be defining how the application looks and functions by working with both the front-end and back-end developers.

1.A developer who is proficient with ReactJS (Redux or Flex)

2.Strong hands on the backend with nodeJS and has experience in developing robust web application with javascript

3.Should have basic understanding of AWS, various Databases and able to write simple api with express

4.Familiar with concepts like Isomorphic web apps , state management, push state, local storage, and promises

5.Sufficient knowledge on git, test driven development and browser debugging

SKILLS

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Educational qualifications of B.E. or M.E. equivalent degrees in Computer Science will be preferred

Your responsibilities:

We have three portals for different types of users and they are written in Angular. Your primary responsibility will be to provide impeccable user experience to the users on all forms of devices. You will be leading the effort of overhaul of one of the portals which we want to partly rewrite. Your Angular, JavaScript and design skills will matter the most here. Apart from this, you will be involved in all design discussions and code reviews and expected to give your inputs to ensure the best frontend development practices are followed. You will support your team members when they are facing challenges, and mentor them when appropriate.

Must-have Skills:

• 4-8 years of total experience
• 2+ years of experience in Angular. You must be pro at it. The team will be looking up to you for making most out of Angular.
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap
• Excellent Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6 and TypeScript
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Responsive design methodologies and techniques

Good-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with UI testing and automation frameworks
• Experience of Chart.js

We are looking for a front end engineer with focus on UI/UX engineer with superb technical and aesthetic aptitude. The front end engineer will primarily be responsible for building and delivering custom solutions for our customers including the graphic design, experience design, and coding of the front ends. In this role, we expect you to gain an intimate understanding of your user and the value they’ll derive from the solution and develop user interfaces to deliver that value to the user in an ideal manner. The successful candidate will be curious, creative, ambitious, self motivated, flexible, and have a propensity for taking action.

Although your primary responsibilities will be around front-end work, we prize individuals who are willing to step in and contribute to other areas including automation, tooling, and management of applications.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in architecting and building Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Shipped at least 2+ applications using Angular/AngularJs
• Expertise in building Angularjs and Angular with integration and unit tests
• Experience in upgrading angular/js versions and converting angularjs -> angular.
• Good working knowledge of other frameworks such as REACT, nodejs, meteor etc.
• Experience with package management tools such as webpack for minification, uglification etc
• Experience with creating embeddable widgets
• Expertise with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap4

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise of building cloud native applications
• Familiarity with administration of CI/CD such as jenkins

Published atleast 2 apps in Google play store and Apple app store.
