We are a full-stack conversational AI company from building products to delivering bots for our clients. We are looking for a front-end engineer who can help us build the next generation of enterprise-grade conversational AI platform.

What will you do every day?

As a front-end tech lead you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be working closely with the product, design and platform team on a day to day basis and be responsible for the look and feel of the product. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.

Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?

- Have a keen eye for detail and passionate about UI and UX

- Has worked with a team of FE engineers to set tech processes and standards.

- Has experience in mentoring junior engineers.

- Have a solid understanding of front-end technologies especially React

- Build, maintain and gate-keep the platform tools

- Work closely with the PM and designers to deliver high-quality features

- Work closely with the backend engineers to understand the Interkat Platform and build for scale

- High-level estimating and scoping/breaking down of tasks

- Document features to make them easily understandable to clients

- Participate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance process

- Use and promote standard good coding practices

- Fully participate in a scrum-based, agile development team

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

- Work experience around optimizing build artifacts and performance monitoring

- Following security standards when using cookies/others to store user information etc.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience working on React.js

- Prior experience of leading/mentoring a team is a plus

- Knowledge of flux and redux

- Must have extensive experience working on Javascript, HTML, CSS, animations and UI/UX principles.

- Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus

- Good attention to detail, pixel perfect designs

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent

- Good Communication skills

- Hustler with the passion for writing good code

- Team player

- Must have experience in working in an agile environment, exposure to tools like Jira would be an added benefit.

Job Description: Senior Software Developer (React.js)

Location: [Pune, Maharashtra]

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in React.js to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge web applications using React.js and related technologies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable software solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to the overall success of our project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex web applications using React.js and other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Architect and implement reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in front-end development and mentor junior developers in best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and standards adherence.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years specifically using React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API.
• Deep understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Solid understanding of version control using Git or similar systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript or similar statically typed languages.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering and Node.js.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Contribution to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.

• Keen design eye to translate wire frames into pixel perfect web pages
• Excellent JSON/DOM manipulation skills
• Should have strong key skills in HTML5, CSS and advanced JavaScript and the ability to turn design mock-ups into great looking sites with user interactions.
• Must also be up-to-date with cross-browser and cross-platform issues, have a good eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines
