• Responsibilities:
• Execute on the software development strategy to improve our dynamic highly distributed system
• Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drive features from conception to delivery
• Collaborate closely with the product management, architects and dev-ops to achieve quality releases
• Work hand-in-hand with customer support, documentation and downstream teams to enable customer success
• Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-release while maintaining performance and scalability requirements
• Be able to clearly communicate goals and desired outcomes to internal project teams
• Interview, mentor and coach new team members

Skills :

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 8 years or equivalent experience
• Be a self-starter, able to learn independently and adapt quickly
• Advanced-level of experience as hands-on Core Java Software Engineer in a distributed/cloud-based product
• Solid experience with Spring framework, Rest API, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes and Docker
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Strong experience and knowledge with Micro services, distributed processing systems, and performance optimization
• Experience with Agile development process and embrace Agile methodologies
• Strong believer of automation test and strive for higher code coverage
• Can-do attitude on problem-solving, quality and ability to execute

Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5 years or equivalent experience

As the Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge health-tech applications that include high scale transaction processing, intelligent bot based programs and data analytics.

What you will do:

• Building components for the company's advanced health tech platform using Java, Solr, SpringBoot, DialogFlow
• Communicating effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and solutions effectively
• Participating in technical planning and requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications
• Developing the Code as per the requirements
• Working with product team and constructing the tech roadmap
• Designing, building and scaling the company's backend microservices
• Maintaining code integrity and organization
• Applying all quality requirements to make the code production ready
• Developing and deploying new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Developing documentation related to technical aspects and to facilitate current support, development, upgrades, or migrations
• Designing and building efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Pro actively catching and fixing bugs, and providing support for the back end services
• Managing servers and infrastructure by keeping the lights on and refining the deployment architecture

What will you do:

You will independently work on designing and developing solutions that solve customer’s business problems. You will own the assigned problem statements, evaluate multiple technical approaches and use design-thinking to take independent decisions while implementing the solution. You will also guide junior members of the team and participate in code and design review process.

Who should apply:

You have -

• a graduate degree in BE, BTech, MTech, MCA from a reputed institute
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in programming Core Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Rest Template, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring JDBC Template
• Good to Have experience/knowledge on Docker, Oracle, MongoDB, Quartz Scheduler, Shell scripting
• Working experience with Windows, Linux environments

About the Backend Developer

We are looking at a diligent, driven, passionate person for our efforts on engagement and retention of our customers (schools) in a high growth environment. Backend Developer will be the face of the organisation for the schools that are using the platform on a day to day basis. The Developer will interact with the schools via the chat support and email requests and resolve any issues that the schools might be facing in using the platform or extend any support they might be needing to use the platform to its fullest.

• As a Backend Developer, you will play a major role in, developing and deploying high-quality web platforms. In this multifaceted role, you will get the opportunity to work along curriculum experts, teachers, and students, and user-test the product in real school settings.
