About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Support Engineer to join our growing team at Deqode. This role is ideal for professionals with deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Splunk, and who have hands-on experience supporting and maintaining large-scale applications in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based applications in a production environment.
• Actively monitor application health using Splunk, identify issues, and drive timely resolutions.
• Debug, analyze logs, and troubleshoot incidents to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams for bug resolution and performance tuning.
• Write and maintain documentation for support processes and RCA reports.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ensure high availability of services during night hours.
• Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Maintain SLA adherence and manage incident ticket lifecycles effectively.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• Java (Advanced Level) – Strong programming and debugging capabilities.
• Spring Boot – In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Splunk – Hands-on experience with log analysis, dashboard creation, and alert setup.
• Experience in production support, incident management, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar.
• Comfortable working in night shift and across multiple teams.

● Support And Improve Existing Software
● Prepare Documentation For The Created Software. Qualifications
● Confident Knowledge Of C++ 17, Object-Oriented Programming, Embedded Software Development
● Proficiency With Microcontrollers Of The STM32 And / Or NRF Series
● Experience With RTOS
● Familiarity With Git, Linux
● Technical English
● Knowledge Of Python As An Advantage
● Any Experience With UAS \ UAV \ Drones is much appreciated

• Work independently, good communication and Excel Skills.
• Extensive experience in loading data using SF data loader.
• Expert in SALESFORCE configurations and admin activities
• Integration development experience (REST / SOAP)
• Should be expert in working with flows, process builder, Platform Events and APEX

8+ years of experience  Excellent skills in C/C++/Java programming in embedded domain 

Strong experience  in the area of Automotive, Android Embedded development and Connectivity Technologies
Strong experience on Android architecture, HAL, BSP, customize driver in Android HAL, Android boot up sequence
Familiar with Android Build System and procedure and able to provide ideas to improve continuous build and integration

Experience in Hardware peripherals like Ethernet, CAN, DMA, I2C, SPI, UART, Hardware Accelerator, AFE , LCD, backlight, touchcontroller

Experience with design/ modification to Hardware Abstraction Libraries (HAL) for Android support of low-level device features.
Experience in debugging on a wide range of Linux Kernel drivers and Android framework HALs e.g. Audio/Video, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi

  Fluent in industry standard software development tools: HSW/HE debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs and build tools
Exposure/experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development is a plus

Additional Skills:

• Experience in working with Agile software methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban), TDD and Continuous Integration (CI/CD).
• Experience using no-SQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience with container orchestrators like Kubernetes is a plus.
