Hiring for the position of Android Developer responsible for developing app from scratch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

●        Translate design and wireframes into code

●        Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code

●        Identify solutions through research and collaboration that resolves the root of problems as they arise

●        Unit testing code

●        Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications

Requirement

∙  2+ years’ strong development experience in android

∙  Experience using RESTful web services within mobile applications

∙ Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

∙ Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

∙ Experience with code versioning control, such as bitbucket/git

∙  Experience in writing code using kotlin is an advantage

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Job Role:

Experience building and maintaining code for:

Android platform (Android Studio, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK) OR

Any other platform, with proven track record of picking up new skills

Hands-on experience with modern technologies.

Excellent Kotlin/Java programming skills

Excellent analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills (battery usage, network usage optimization, etc)

Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in software development.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Exposure to Agile methodologies

Bonus points for knowledge of iOS platforms, hybrid platforms(React native, Flutter).

Job Brief: We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing

mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of

talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general

reliability

• Bug fixing and improving application performance
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Objective C, Swift, React Native can be considered as add on.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development● Have published at least one original Android app
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal

with different screen sizes Familiarity with RESTful / JSON APIs to connect Android

applications to back- end services

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for

common tasks

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical

• PIs and push notifications Understanding of Google's Android design principles and

• Manage high-level architecture and design data flows in the Android and iOS app in (Dart, Flutter framework)
• Add new features and automate functionalities in backend hosted on Firebase (Typescript, ReactJS framework)
• Setup Marketing and Analytics tools in the app to get relevant daily usage insights and target users in different campaigns. (3rd party tools, Mixpanel)
• Experiment with the live data stream from wearable IoT devices to generate insights using ML models in production.
• Deploying ML models in production to be used inside the app community section.
