What you’ll be doing

• Lead the development of our across all phases of software and web development including ideation, prototyping, design, production, and maintenance.
• Work closely with founders and internal/external stakeholders to build products, tools, and services from scratch and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Be actively involved in requirements gathering, customer interviews and the creation of robust product solutions.
• Brainstorm and lay the foundations of the technology and architectural roadmap as well as the development processes.
• Share your technical expertise to help the team make thoughtful and scalable design decisions and identify performance bottlenecks to troubleshoot quickly.
• Manage product development priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Hire and manage a small team of engineers (internal/outsourced).
• Ensure high-performant and responsive web applications and websites.

Skills & Qualities we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• 4-7 years of experience as a full-stack developer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) at a fast-paced, preferably early / growth stage start-up.
• Proficient with frontend technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript & ReactJS/VueJS.
• Proficient with backend technologies - Java/NodeJs/Golang/Python/Ruby.
• Hands-on experience working with any cloud AWS/GCP/Azure/DigitalOcean.
• Knowledge of codebases and version control systems (Git).
• Well-versed with SQL database design & RDBMS concepts.
• Strong arithmetic reasoning, logical and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of code quality maintenance and performance analysis.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelors degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven 1+ years of experience of working as a Full-stack or Back-end or Front-end developer.
• Must have good understanding of Javascript, Node Js, ReactJs, databases (MySql, Mongo, Firebase, etc).
• Must have good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithm.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving skills is a must.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with discord bot, no-code automation tools like Zapier, Automate.io, Airtable and their api’s is a plus.
• A basic understanding of html, css
• Interest in game industry, since you will be working with people crazy for developing and playing games.

• Responsible for monitoring project deliverables on day to day basis

Qualifications:

• Ability to identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.

At least 7 years programming experience, some of them in JS/TypeScript.

 Proven expert level knowledge in BE & FE development (NodeJS, React,

electron, npm/yarn, WebPack).

 Experience with cloud (preferably AWS) and/or micro-services.

 Proven experience mentoring junior developers, defining work procedures and coding conventions.

 Experience working with various databases (preferably more than two).

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

The Candidate should have knowledge and experience with specified technologies:

• Great at building server-side code in NodeJs & ExpressJs
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Experience in building and consuming REST API
• Authentication and authorisation using JWT tokens
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• DevOps knowledge especially in AWS EC2 and S3
• Knowledge of headless Chrome, Puppeteer will be huge plus
• Experience in HTML, CSS
• Understanding of React will be a bonus
