Position Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer with a mix of automation and manual testing experience to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and security of our fintech products, especially in the areas of API and web/mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation testing, a strong understanding of manual testing processes, and hands-on experience with API security testing. Knowledge of Python, Selenium IDE, and Selenium Base is essential, along with a keen ability to design, develop, and maintain test automation suites from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium IDE, Selenium Base, and Python.
• Develop and execute automated API tests to ensure secure and efficient API functionality.
• Identify test cases that are critical for automation and work closely with the development team to prioritize them.
• Troubleshoot issues in automated tests and work towards timely resolutions.

Manual Testing:

• Perform manual testing to ensure the product meets the required standards before automation.
• Create, review, and update manual test cases to reflect the current product functionality.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure a high level of product quality.

API Security Testing:

• Conduct secured API testing to safeguard against common vulnerabilities and ensure robust API performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to address security concerns and implement necessary fixes.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
• Analyse test results, document findings, and report any issues or bugs.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and API security.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in automation testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience in manual testing, with an ability to switch between manual and automation tasks as needed.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium IDE, Selenium Base, and Python.
• Experience with secured API testing and understanding of common API vulnerabilities.

Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Expertise in designing and developing test automation suites from scratch.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, both manual and automated.
• Knowledge of various testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

In the First 12 Months, You Will:

• Design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for our web and mobile applications.
• Develop robust automated API tests to ensure secure and efficient cross-border transactions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in the QA and fintech sectors.

1. Should have at least 6+ Years of experience on Loan Origination domain

2. Should have Team Handling and Governance experience of atleast 2+ years

3. Database, API testing exposure should be there

4. Testing Concepts should be clear

5. Should be able to WFO at Noida Location

• Must have worked in an environment where they know when to perform what kind of testing; say smoke, regression, integration, sanity
• Must have test plan, strategy, cases development experience.
• Knowledge on Android/iOS app testing (usage of Debugging tools relevant is added bonus)
• Must know to prioritize work items based on the business need
• Knows how to handle tough timelines situations and not compromise quality.
• Must have experience in product management methodology such as agilenon-process oriented environment
• Should have experience in any of the ALM tools such as TFS JIRA or even be open to build application reporting structure in excel.
