Responsibilities:

• Oversee the user experience of a product/feature from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers and other designers

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of experience in software product design, web applications, UI and UX

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Modeler with deep expertise in Cloud Data Platforms, SQL, Dimensional Modeling, and Performance Tuning to join our growing Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Consumer-Packaged

Goods (CPG) domain and a proven track record of designing scalable, business-aligned data models that drive actionable insights.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Trade, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance—to translate business requirements into robust data architectures.

This role demands both strong technical expertise and the ability to engage with business stakeholders to ensure data solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain dimensional, relational, and semantic data models that support analytical and operational use cases.
2. Ensure models are scalable, flexible, and optimized for performance across various workloads.
3. Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, KPIs, and reporting needs, translating them into effective data models.
4. Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts to ensure seamless data flow and model implementation.
5. Conduct SQL performance tuning and query optimization for large-scale datasets.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in SQL & Performance Tuning for analytical queries.
• Proven experience with Cloud Data Platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Hands-on knowledge of Data Modeling Tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar).
• Solid understanding of Dimensional Modeling concepts (Star/Snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, fact/dimension tables).
• Experience working with large datasets in a distributed/cloud environment.
