MERN Stack - Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Rancher clusters, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes operations. This role requires expertise in automation through shell scripting and proficiency in configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible. Candidates should be highly self-motivated, capable of working on a rotating schedule, and committed to owning tasks through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain Rancher and Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, including on bare-metal environments.
• Perform upgrades and manage the lifecycle of Rancher clusters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Rancher cluster issues efficiently.
• Write, maintain, and optimize shell scripts to automate Kubernetes-related tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the team to implement best practices for system automation and orchestration.
• Utilize configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible (preferred but not mandatory).
• Participate in a rotating schedule, with the ability to work until 1 AM as required.
• Take ownership of tasks, ensuring timely delivery with high-quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Rancher and Kubernetes operations and maintenance.
• Experience in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for task automation.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible (good to have).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes and Rancher environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a rotating schedule and flexible hours.
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Delivers solution or infrastructure development services, such as coding, programming, and creating program specifications in a defined project, using sound technical capabilities.
• Develops, modifies, and maintains solutions or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards.
• Lead the Development & Engineering team in the area of specialization and developed the team to ensure it has the right capability.
• Contributes to the strategic direction within the area of specialization, including standards, culture, and ways of working in line with the departmental strategy
• Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practices,s and continuous improvement culture.
• Drives the relationship with other departments and significantly contributes to the development of the design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy
• Work with business users to capture requirements and review code & design, ensuring excellent delivery as per standards.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Ruby, Rails, and associated libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaboration tools (e. g., GitHub or GitLab).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.

Title: Content Writing Specialist

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled content writer who can compose short-form and long-form content in clear, concise, and conversational language. As part of your role, you’ll craft compelling, original, well-researched, and benefit-centric content. Within our brand guidelines and style guide, you will have complete creative freedom in execution. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and deliver TOFU (top-of-funnel) and MOFU (middle-of-funnel) content in the form of Use case blogs, Primary (surveys, insights from industry experts/clients), and Secondary research based articles, and various other forms of marketing material. 

• Work with the SEO team to ensure content optimization for better reach. 

• Coordinate with the design team to deliver readable and consumable content. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand the use cases and functionalities of the solution. 

• Present and sell work. Provide a point of view and express it well. 

• Consistently work towards tracking and improving individual performance based on set parameters.

Requirements: 

• B.A. in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience writing marketing copy for B2B customers. Tech experience helps.

• Basic SEO knowledge. 

• Hands-on experience with WordPress.

• Strong communication skills. Knowledge of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Flexibility and patience in the face of changing methods, objectives and content revisions.

• An optimistic attitude and drive for professional growth.

• A go-getter who is able to handle projects end-to-end.
