MEAN/MERN Developer

Position Overview

As a Senior Python Developer / Tech Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and guiding a talented team of engineers. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend systems, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring code quality across the development lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Architect and implement microservices, APIs, and distributed systems to meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain complex data models and integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Lead the adoption of best practices in testing (unit, integration, functional), continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve performance and reliability.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and mentoring junior developers.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and frameworks that enhance development productivity and system performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development with Python (preferably in backend or full-stack development).
• Solid experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of testing frameworks (unittest, pytest, etc.) and TDD/BDD principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technical innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.) for full-stack development.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization for large-scale applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Experience and ability to translate designs into Wordpress pages using Page Builder (Visual Composer, Divi or Elementor) and PHP
• Designing and managing the website back-end with PHP including database and server integration.
• Developing custom Wordpress themes.
• Integration of third party plugins and APIs.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting Wordpress related issues.

Requirements:

• Proficient with any plugin.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3 and HTML5
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Good communication skills.

Requirement

∙ Proficient in Node.JS and ReactJS development stack

∙ Basic understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc.

∙ Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

∙ Good to have knowledge of AWS, Redis, ElasticSearch

Education: Min. Graduate in related discipline
