The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Generative AI Engineer to join our mission of unlocking the value of clinical data to improve patient outcomes in emerging markets. Our platform bridges the gap between complex health data and life-saving precision medicine. In this role, you will build the intelligent layer that transforms unstructured, multi-modal clinical data into actionable insights for healthcare providers, pharmaceutical partners, and financial stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect GenAI Solutions: Design and deploy scalable Generative AI systems, specifically focusing on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures to query complex clinical datasets.
• Clinical NLP & Data Structuring: Develop LLM-based pipelines to extract, normalize, and structure data from messy, unstructured medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
• Model Optimization: Fine-tune open-source and proprietary LLMs for medical domain specificity, ensuring high precision, reduced hallucination, and clinical relevance.
• Agentic Workflows: Build AI agents capable of navigating complex healthcare workflows, from patient eligibility screening to longitudinal data analysis.
• Production-Grade Deployment: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate AI models into a robust production environment, ensuring security, data privacy (HIPAA/GDPR compliance), and low-latency performance.
• Leadership & Innovation: Act as a technical subject matter expert, staying ahead of the curve in LLM research and applying "state-of-the-art" techniques to real-world healthcare challenges.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Deep GenAI Expertise: Proven track record of building and deploying LLM-powered applications (using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack).
• Strong NLP Background: Significant experience with Natural Language Processing, especially in entity extraction and semantic search.
• Technical Stack: * Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Data Savvy: Experience working with complex, high-dimensional datasets.
• Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent deep industry experience).

Preferred Attributes

• Healthcare Experience: Prior experience with clinical data, medical coding (ICD-10, SNOMED), or HealthTech platforms.

Role Objective:

Big Data Engineer will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and database architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building. The Data Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Sound knowledge in Spark architecture and distributed computing and Spark streaming.
• Proficient in Spark – including RDD and Data frames core functions, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• SFDC(Data modelling experience) would be given preference
• Good understanding in object-oriented concepts and hands on experience on Scala with excellent programming logic and technique.
• Good in functional programming and OOPS concept on Scala
• Good experience in SQL – should be able to write complex queries.
• Managing the team of Associates and Senior Associates and ensuring the utilization is maintained across the project.
• Able to mentor new members for onboarding to the project.
• Understand the client requirement and able to design, develop from scratch and deliver.
• AWS cloud experience would be preferable.
• Design, build and operationalize large scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of AWS data and analytics services - DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, etc. (preferred)
• Hands on experience utilizing AWS Management Tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail) to proactively monitor large and complex deployments (preferred)
• Experience in analyzing, re-architecting, and re-platforming on-premises data warehouses to data platforms on AWS (preferred)
• Leading the client calls to flag off any delays, blockers, escalations and collate all the requirements.
• Managing project timing, client expectations and meeting deadlines.
• Should have played project and team management roles.
• Facilitate meetings within the team on regular basis.
• Understand business requirement and analyze different approaches and plan deliverables and milestones for the project.

• 2018 & 2019 batches of BE/B.Tech – CS/CE/IT/E&C/E&TC/Telecom/Communications/Electronics or MCA and other circuit branches of relevance to corporations and industry qualifying degrees.
• Candidate must have graduated the qualifying course in 2018 without any backlog.
• Candidates graduated in 2019, meeting the criteria, also stand eligible.
• Candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in SSC/10th, HSC/12th/Diploma, and UG/PG as applicable.
• Not more than a gap year since SSC, meaning no loss of the academic year after joining a course.
• Flexible to relocate anywhere in India, and willing to work on any skill/domain/work timings.
