Overall 10+ years of experience as a Java Developer

Core Java 10+ years

Good hands-on coding skills

Must have experience in investment banking-related projects

Should have working experience in Trading life cycle project

Spring framework 5+ years

Kafka or other messaging

Knowledge of key APIs: JPA, JTA, CDI, etc.

Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns

Understanding of microservices architecture

Containerization solutions (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

Building tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle)

TAPPP is available across platforms via the Web, Mobile and Tablets. Building out this brand presents significant product and engineering challenges. At the centre of solving those challenges is the TAPPP Product Engineering team which is responsible for the TAPPP product end to end.

We are looking for a coding enthusiast who love working with code and developing software systems.

You will be a part of the core product development team that is responsible for building different components of the TAPPP platform. You will be responsible for designing, coding, reviewing, testing, bug-fixing different modules of the software product that needs to work seamlessly across different environments.

• Developer will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

• Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Position Overview:

We seek a talented and experienced professional to serve as the Head of Engineering and a Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Go (Golang). In this dual role, you will lead our engineering team and contribute hands-on to developing our B2B SaaS platform, which aims to revolutionize blue-collar worker training in India. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, set engineering standards, and ensure the successful execution of our technology initiatives.

As Head of Engineering:

• Oversee the recruitment, mentoring, and performance management of engineering team members.
• Define and maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Drive technical decisions and architecture discussions to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.

As Senior Backend Developer (Go):

• Design the architecture and implement high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services in Go.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring the security and integrity of the platform.
• Optimize and fine-tune the backend components for maximum speed and scalability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems.
• Implement asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture for handling concurrent requests efficiently.
• Work on data modelling and integration with databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure robustness.

Responsibilities:

• Crawl the internet/intranet for issues people are facing and convert them in to stuctured data that would be consumed downstream.
• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Comply with coding standards and technical design.
• Adapts structured coding styles for easy review, testing, and maintainability of the code.
• Integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system.
• Ensure unit and integration level verification plans are in place and adheres to the great quality of code at all times.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system.
• Verify user feedback in making the system more stable and easy.
• Work closely with analysts, designers, and other peer developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, Persistence, Threading.
• Good understanding of version control system (GIT).
• Knowledgeable in data structures and algorithms.
• A background in Engineering with sound oral and written communication skills.
• 6+ years of experience working on the server-side.
• Exposure to API designing, scalable architecture, and thorough understanding of systems.
• Great database modeling skills.
• Working knowledge of Databases, both relational (such as PostgreSQL) and in-memory database (such as Redis).
• Good understanding of web stack and how all the pieces fit together.
• Experience with open-source projects.
• Experience in designing interactive applications.

4+ years’ Experience with NodeJS

BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering Experience documenting and testing RESTful APIs

Experience working with databases in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis

Experience and enthusiasm for working collaboratively with others in an Agile environment
