Must to have skills

• Graduate degree in B.Tech/MS/M.Tech/MCA/B.E. 
• Willing to learn new technologies & work with cross functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to generate and communicate meaningful development metrics.
• Very strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to delve into multifaceted pieces of knowledge.
• Decent programming experience in one or more of these programming languages widely used in open source community projects such as Java/ Core Java/ Javascript.

Good to have Skills

• Decent programming exposure in Data Structures, Algorithms.
• Some exposure to open-source projects within Kubernetes/any other communities such as Knative, Operators, Fluentd, Prometheus, Elasticsearch etc.
• Knowledge on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge on design, development, microservices, SQL/NoSQL would be Plus.
• Knowledge on ecommerce/retail/supply Chain/SaaS/PaaS would be Plus.

Job Summary

Engineering Manager is responsible for leading various Android platforms at Ola Electric Mobility

For this position,

We prefer someone who has displayed a track record of:

• Solid experience in JAVA 
• Should have experience in Reactive programming, Asynchronous programming

and Unit Testing.

• Has an ability to quickly learn and contribute in multiple codebase.
• Overcomes roadblocks and requires minimal oversight.
• Takes initiatives to fix issues/tech debts before assigned to him/her.
• Able to deep dive into codebase and advise QA of possible regression impact.
• Communicates tech decisions through design docs and tech talks.
• Has delivered projects with end-to-end accountability.
• Keeps track of industry trends and introduces right tech/tools for a given job.
• Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, Design Patterns,

Data Structures, Algorithms.

• 5+ years of experience in a product-driven organization.

  The job requires a gamut of roles and responsibilities -

  • Build a world-class team of engineers
  • Ensure their KPI’s and OKR are set and evaluated at regular intervals
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality software products, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate & work with Product Leads and Business Leaders to develop a long-term product plan,

  products, and manage the release planning cycles for all products.

  • Responsible for managing the staffing requirements and skillsets for the Customer Interaction Team,

  assuring that sub-teams are staffed with sufficient skilled resources and meeting Ability to work in a fast-

  paced setup,

  • Deliver results, set up high standards for the team, and the ability to attract world-class talent. product

• 3+ Years of experience in MDM (IDD UserExits / Hub User Exits)
• 2+ years experience in Java
• 1+ years’ experience in Activos
• 3+ years experience developing with SIF API, BES apis.
• Well versed with SOAP and RESTful WebServices
• Working with business partners and technical team to understand the requirements.
• Develop, program, and unit test the Java code needed.
• Support integration and Regression testing activities around custom Java objects
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent
• Ability to move between high level architecture design and getting involved in all phases of hands-on development
• Excellent communication skills, particularly those relating to complex findings and presenting them to ensure audience appeal at various levels of the organization
• Ability to integrate research and best practices into problem avoidance and continuous improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, external partners and internal business and IT associates.
• Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision
