Responsibilities

• Help implement Magento e-commerce applications
• Active participation in discovery, launch and maintenance
• Installation and configuration of Magento 1 and 2
• Create custom e-commerce modules using object- oriented PHP and Magento APIs
• Implement custom skins and front—end templates
• Working in collaboration with teams in a start up environment

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certified Magento developer credentials
• Meaningful PHP Web Development experience
• Familiarity and experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural patterns
• Strong MySQL skills
• Experience using PHP to create and consume web services (e.g. SOAP, REST)
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of CSS and CSS pre-processors
• Linux System Administration experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience with release building and deployment software, such as Jenkins, preferred but not  required
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns and industry best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Fluent English.
• Experience in Magento or other e-commerce solutions.

We are currently hiring a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building API interfaces and backend infrastructure and collaborating with UI, connectivity and DevOps teams to come up with elegant solutions to complex problems.

Main Responsibilities of a Ruby on Rails Developer :

Your responsibilities will include :

• Writing effective and scalable Ruby codes
• Designing and implementing robust applications
• Debugging applications to ensure low latency and high-availability
• Integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• You have prior experience with Ruby on Rails
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
• Knowledge of ORM (Object Relational Mapper), RESTful
• Familiarity with various testing tools and ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Good problem-solving skills

• Must possess a fair, clear understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento 1/2, PHP.
• Must have strong experience in Magento Extension development.
• Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
• Strong experience of Magento Best Practices, including experience developing custom extensions and extending third party extensions.
• Thorough functional and code level knowledge of all Magento products and all relevant commerce technologies
