About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to run execution across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. You will own delivery, keep teams aligned, and ensure the right things ship at the right time — balancing product roadmap, customer issues, sales priorities, and platform reliability in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of engineering and product initiatives
• Build and maintain sprint plans, delivery timelines, and roadmaps
• Prioritize work across features, bugs, customer requests, sales needs, and infrastructure
• Work closely with engineers to translate requirements into clear execution plans
• Run Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros)
• Track delivery, risks, and team capacity
• Communicate progress, blockers, and timelines to leadership and stakeholders
• Use data from tools like Mixpanel and monitoring systems to track delivery health

What We’re Looking For

• 4–8 years of experience with:
• 2+ years in technical project/program management
• 2+ years in software or engineering roles
• Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and modern product delivery
• Experience working with SaaS or product engineering teams
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
• Strong communication, ownership, and prioritization skills

Our core customer-facing product today is a native Android application. In addition to this, we are building internal tools for customer support, investment management, marketing analytics and business management. In the future, we plan to hugely expand the features in our core product, build iOS and web products, and continuously improve our internal tools to better serve our customers.

For our back-end, we use Node.js / MySQL / AWS. We are currently a 3-member engineering team (1 back-end, 1 Android, 1 full stack) led by our founding engineer and advised by a senior technology executive from a leading fintech company.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software applications
• Build reusable libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications
• Set-up our technology infrastructure and integrate with 3rd party applications
• Contribute to internal discussions around product features, roadmap and technologies used
• Mentor & recruit engineers to the team
• Set up processes related to engineering & product

Skills / Required Experience:

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent, with solid foundational knowledge in at least two general programming languages, data structures, algorithms, system architecture, security and networking protocols.
• At least 6 years of back-end development experience in a software product company is required for this role.
• Exposure to modern software development processes, multiple front-end and back-end technologies, and open-source software.
• Proficiency with tools like Gitlab/Jira/Firebase, as well as AWS and commonly used database systems etc. is required
• Experience in an early-stage startup or having founded your own startup would be good to have (but not necessary).

We are looking for a Node.js Developer who has experience building back-end services and managing data exchange between the server and user-facing applications. Responsibilities will include the development of back-end micro-services, maintaining the best possible performance for micro-service, quality and responsiveness of the application. You will work closely with the front-end developers in order to implement their components into the application.

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Responsible for entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions

• 3+ years experience in building micro-services using Node.js
• Expert in SQL querying with Mysql/PostgreSQL and ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries like TypeORM.
• Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
